I remember looking at three year rolling win rate historically being a good indicator of a coach’s job security. Arthur’s is very high at the moment.Funny how some commentators set the parameters to suit the outcome of their stats.
Now take it back a couplle of years and it would be closer to Pou stats and no where near 65%
How do you know Penrith were at their best in those regular season games? Every team has off weeks.Fluking a GF win your kidding yourself.
We beat Penrith twice last year. If we won the GF it would have been three times in the season out of 4 games between the teams we had beaten them.
No fluke there.

That’s bullshit. Finishing top four or missing the eight are both within the range of good and bad luck for a coach at a reasonably strong/stable club like ours.2023 has set the bar for BA now he has made a GF now he has to atleast finish the season in the top 6 and make the preliminary finals.
What gets coaches sacked is more losses than wins over a fairly long timeframe. That timeframe seems to be three years. Some examples are Cleary getting sacked by Penrith the first time, and Hasler sacked by Manly last year. Both had a three year rolling win rate (3YRWR) lower than 50%. Arthur’s 3YRWR is currently over 60%. We would need to lose 20 games this year for it to drop below 50%.so are you by the sound of it

Didnt Griffin have The Pennys in the top 4 when he met his demise? What gets coaches sacked is more losses than wins over a fairly long timeframe. That timeframe seems to be three years. Yep, and Penrith were trying to retain their star halfback. They did it by sacking a relatively successful coach in favour of a relative failure. Lucky for him he happened to be a relative of the player in question.Didnt Griffin have The Pennys in the top 4 when he met his demise?
So there are exceptions to your previous comment. Ok I got it now. Ta Poo.Yep, and Penrith were trying to retain their star halfback. They did it by sacking a relatively successful coach in favour of a relative failure. Lucky for him he happened to be a relative of the player in question.
There’s always exceptions. Hasler’s 3YRWR was very good when the Dogs got rid of him.So there are exceptions to your previous comment. Ok I got it now. Ta Poo.
To every comment he makes...There’s always exceptions.

I reckon players wages should be made public.
If you’re looking for absolutes, rugby league isn’t the place for you. Try following maths or physics as a hobby instead. To every comment he makes...
