I'm happy for BA to be replaced but I don't see anyone turning our club into premiers in the short term. Our team of muppets just aren't good enough.

I just hope we can strip out the shit and get some quality around our 1, 6 and 7. If we don't do that in the next couple of years then we are in serious rebuild territory.
I think with our spine and forwards we just need a few quality players in the backline to be contenders.

Whatever happens in the next 2 seasons I’m definite it will be his last two seasons. Continuing with him regardless of the results would be madness. It’s not like we are winning a comp anytime soon with this aging forward pack.

He definitely gets a F for season 2023. Hang your head in shame and avoid the fans like you did when we copped the spoon under your tenure.

He already avoids the fans. My dad has corporate tickets for every home game and is admanent he either has some secret entrance into commbank Stadium

Or gets there 5 hours before the game where no one can spot him walk in.

Has anyone seen BA get a selfie with a fan or spotted him going into the ground.

A few years ago I was in a corporate box and we had a tough win against someone. After the game I saw him and Peter Gentle who was his assistant at the time going up the escalator. My mate who was with me said words to the effect, ‘great win gentlemen.’ Gentle immediately acknowledged him and said thank you. Nothing from BA. Absolutely sweet f**k all. Just a stern look in our direction. It was the icing on a shit BA cake for me.

I was in Sydney during the 2016 pre-season and so went down to watch training with my old man. Arthur's came over afterwards for a chat. He didn't seem very comfortable but he was making an effort at least.

It’s because he’s an awkward introvert in public but still with a hint of arrogance. Unusual mix, a bit like his tactics.

Spines top 5 in comp.
Forwards are good enough.

2-5 I put at the bottom 3. Its very bad. Penisini is our best and he isnt a top 10 centre in game. Actualy of the 34 centres he currently sits maybe in the 15-20 range. Young and promising but fans are over rating him currently.

We just don't have any backs who can create something out of nothing. Or even barely good enough to turn half chances into something. They are all capable of finishing backline movements that majority of NRL players would finish.
Look at Brisbanes backline. Staggs,Herbie,Cobbo,Oates. All can make a bust at anytime and give all bar Oates a half a chance or a sniff and most likely its points.

If anyone can find a side with a worse back 4. Some mentioned Dragons. I mean Suli,Lomax,Feagi,Ravalava. Do fans think Sivo,Russel,Simmonson,Penisini are seriously as good as those 4?
Defensive maybe but attack no chance.

He has had 10yrs. Id say 2yrs have been of extreme dissapoitment. That includes this year. I dont care what injuries we had a good side most weeks and it isn't like we just lost games we got pasted.
2 seasons have been very good and the rest probably just a pass mark considering all things.
I'd give his time at the Eels about a 5 or 6 out of 10.

much like Benny and/or Bellyache, yet you'd kill to have them at the club

I went to match a couple of years back. BA chatted to us for 10 mins afterwards and then invited us into the dressing sheds. Even gave us a lift back to the hotel.
