One day my colleagues on here will understand my anger with regards to the appointment of some of our key management and coaching staff. We could have and should have done better.
Oh I am sure most of your loyal subjects and colleagues on this forum by now understand perfectly where you stand on this issue

I just wish for another premiership . I dont want to wait another 31 years since 2010. That will put me in my mid 70's if I make it.

We were so close to a premiership for 2019 until we let Macdonald and Herbert go in the backs and Ah Mau in the forwards.

So now it is a frantic search to find a backup for fullback, a right winger and a left centre. This along with one more first grade prop.

Cotric would be great.
He is a long term superstar.
He will get better and better.
But I don't think we can compete if all he wants is money.
But you never know.

Must have had my head in the sand of late.
I dont know anything about the guy but hey, if our former Raider players can sweet talk him towards the Dragons, it must be a good thing.

One thing is for sure, it cant be McGregors coaching enticing him.

Yes.. when you think of game breaking, premiership winning backs with an X-factor, the names that come to mind are:

- Latrell Mitchell
- James Tedesco
- Kayln Ponga
- Cameron Munster
- Nene MacDonald
- Patrick Herbert
- Greg Inglis

Ah we "let" Ah Mau go did we? Didn't you say gaining contric for family reasons wouldn't count as a get? But when a player leaves (off contract) for family reasons, that's our fault too

That's the way it works - even McDonald left to be closer to his family and it has been rumoured on here that Herbert left for the same reason. So all 3 in the statement were potentially "let go" by our inept recruitment team. When they leave for family reasons it is our fault - but if we get one for family reasons, it's "hooking themselves". Besides, the whole Cotric thing is, as per usual, pure conjecture.

I had never heard of the bloke either.
Supposedly, if it wasn't for Tom or Addo.
He may have had a blue jersey for the wardrobe.
Don't quote me, im only going off what my brothers mates cousin said.

No way Possm..you are kidding. So close....pffttt.
So that means you were happy with all the squad and coaching staff of 2018. a younger Sims replaces Ah Mau, at least equal or could be a +. Herbert never played 1st grade so that's a guess and no loss. McDonald I have said enough about him on here and he is a liability at times as much as he is a benefit. I see that as a +. So we are in front from 2018 still and 1 more back to come. 1 more forward prior to June 30 maybe

Your a hard but fair man, Hewi.

Thank you, grew up for first nineteen years there, parents settled there in 1943, settle on the family home on Monday that dad purchased i75 years ago. Freezing cold in winter, I usd to get chilblanes in my hands riding a motorbike, hated it. Came to the eastern suburbs of Sydney in 1975 and loved it. If Cotric wants to leave I can understand and there is no better place for him than with the mighty Dragons.

This is one rumour I really hope comes off.

185cm, 98kg, just turned 20, is physical, can play fullback, centre, wing and is a genuine first grader already.

He is the sort of player you can invest in, he is already a solid player and yet will still improve. Give me a backline with Cotric, Johnston, Lomax and Pearson in there and we have pace, size, x factor and youth.

We can only dream Carlton.
