You must have some kind of death wish!

You’ll completely disenfranchise both sides with some hocus pocus vision of unity.

A bitter and ugly Divorce is the only answer.
No not really, I just want to see our club move forward and not be stuck in the past.
Was anyone upset when Eastern Suburbs became the Sydney Roosters…..same jersey, same emblem and now stronger than ever.
We need something as we are a club wallowing in mediocrity with split grounds, split board and shit players that split from previous bottom dweller clubs.
I’d rather a change than sink!

What a clusterf**k this all turned out to be.

The NRL continues to blunder along changing things for the worst rather than betterment of the game and fans.

To even consider that St George or Dragons or worse still both could disappear yet the most iconic jersey in RL history remain in some adulterated form is ludicrous and of course they whip up the story by referring to ongoing tensions between St G & Illawarra.

If any of the above were to happen then for sure the entire thing will implode and you will get left with an even inferior form of what The Steelers were.

Mange riddled tail wagging a flea infested dog is exactly what the NRL aka Superleague people wanted and that's what they have got.

The so called super club joined in an unholy alliance is now being divided and conquered.

I’m passionate about this too.

They said all this merging and joint vulturing was going to result in competitive clubs and fun for all.

Utter bullshit.

The whole game is designed to exploit people financially. A few people milking everyone else.

Stand alone Steelers, stand alone Saints.

Rivers of blood in Wollongong and the lights go off in Dapto if the scarlet socks are retired.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Uncle Bruce himself hasn’t put this pot on the stove to boil as part of his master plan for a complete Illawarra takeover !

Throw out a few red herrings out there such as the Western Sydney Dragons and then get everybody to reluctantly agree on the Illawarra ‘gongs ? 🤔

I cannot see any change to the nomenclature of our branding. It will remain as St George Illawarra Dragons in my opinion.

The club just wants to let us see that they are exploring how the joint venture is being viewed by all and sundry as part of their marketing strategy and it appears that the survey that they have arranged is causing some concern as per the Foxsports report.

I need some help from the Brains Trust.

Where would be the best spot for the Dragons to build their new home ground in Guerilla Bay?

Option A would give us a beachfront spot similar to what we have now, minus the annoyance of things like traffic..

Option B could be quite the statement, out on the peninsula headland. A nighttime game would look spectacular from all up and down the coastline

Option C would be very imposing. Keep the hill like we have now, but with a horseshoe bay cliff viewable from the TV.

No way in hell would your merged club be entitled to be considered part of Western Sydney..

If this was commissioned by the club and limited to a specific cohort, did they not think it would be a huge story and explode in their faces?

This should have been pitched back prior to the start of the joint venture, not now.

This, now has the potential to be so divisive and do a lot more harm than good.

Unbelievable...

I like option B, providing they build a rail link to the ground. Plus they must ensure that the flashing light from the lighthouse doesn't get in the goal kicker's eyes.

C is a bit close to the turd farm in a Westerly and all winds at B murder for goal kickers, A by default but my preference would be Barlings Beach with a club name change!

Pure paper pushing. They'll always be the Saints or Dragons for mine, no matter what involvement Illawarra has in the discussion.

I do agree that the logo could do with a freshening up into the 21st century.

I just tried to complete the survey.

It asked me what industry I work in, my age, my gender and my postcode. After I put in Wollongong's postcode it decided that it had no more questions for me and said the survey was complete.🤨
It's the St George mafia.

I'd go with C. In and out easily onto the main road with an option to go over the cliff if the loss was bad enough to warrant it.
