I think the Dragons really need to improve or they may find themselves in that last spot.

I think 4 teams will fight it out and they will be Roosters, Saints, Souths and Titans. The Roosters are defending well at the moment but aren't scoring points but are improving and that win tonight should lift the spirits at the club and they have won 3 of there last 5.
Souths have lost a few now and a club that has been losing for so long it is not hard to fall back into old habits.
Saints have been just awful recently and they do not appear to be a happy team and the Titans despite a good win tonight may have there depth tested in the second half of the year. On curent form and imrpovements made you would have to favour the Dragons at present.

We showed some good signs against titans...against raiders we were missing our 4 captains(gaz, ryles, hornby(injured early) and young(the inspirational captain). those are 4 of our best players not playing. then you have brett morris & wes naiqama out...important players to our attact. Then browny puts a dud at 5/8...caine whos a hooker. so your left with one matt head whos playing on one leg, to control your game. This isnt an excuse why we lost, its to show the dragons fans that we arnt sh*t...its just things havnt gone our way. Next week we get young, ryles and hornby back which should help us for the big friday night match against the brons.

I don't mind saying we won't win the spoon, but why death ride other teams at the same time? We aren't even half way through the season and the gap between us and last place just got a little bit tighter with the Roosters winning last night.

I know it's a cliche but let's take it one match at a time. The next two weeks gives us the opportunity to build on our recent success but I don't want to get ahead of ourselves either.

Winning should be celebrated with decency and good sportsmanship because when we lose, pretend know it alls like Insaneink and his wanker mates will be all over this thread like Ink's genital rash.

Good point. Gasnier, as part of the Sydney media knows f**k all about league and made an assumption about the Raiders based on 2006 form under Matt Elliott.

I'm not sure he realises the Raiders have scored more than 30 points in a match five times this season against:

Newcastle
Manly
Penrith
Dragons
Roosters

Also, no team has scored more points in a match than Canberra (48 against Newcastle) this year but no team has given up as many either.:?

It's amazing that the so called "experts" of the game didn't tip this joke of a side for the spoon at the start of the year.

Instead they decided to rate the best young team in the comp spoon material. Damn they look like morons now don't they? The Raiders will only get better as the year goes on.

The Dragons were in a similar position as us with all these young guys coming into first grade this year......the difference is our young guns actually have talent.
