And Bellamy will be extending his stay at the storm.

Storm to announce Bellamy future

NRL premiers Melbourne Storm will make an announcement on the future of coach Craig Bellamy on Monday.
Bellamy is out of contract after the coming NRL season and has been heavily courted by St George Illawarra.
But speculation over his future will finally come to an end with the club to make a major announcement at 1310 AEDT on Monday.
The announcement will come shortly before the Storm head to the UK for the World Club Challenge.

So, as expected, the press conference is happening before they leave for the WCC. I'm sure key people at both clubs have known about this for while, but the timing is perfect & both teams can start planning for this season & recruiting for next year. As many on here have mentioned, will be interesting if there is a statement from the Dragons. I'm sure many will speculate about a deadline for Steve Price, but I don't think he'll be sacked during the season.

What if he announces he is leaving at the end of the year? Bennett came out and announced that whilst at St George. Maybe he feels the right thing to do is let Melbourne and their fans (if they have any) that he will be leaving and then St George will hold a press conference next week sometime ;-)

agreed, this season is huge for the Dragons next 5 years. Can some of the young talent step up & turn potential into production ?

As for tomorrow's press conference, the worst part will be all the journo's claiming "you read it here first". There are a few in particular who love puffing their chests out to claim every scoop, but don't mention all the misses they have. ( like a weekend golfer who only talks about the handful of good shots he had & doesn't include all the other junk )

Heard on the news this morning that Bellamy will announce today that he has re signed with storm for another for years with an option of a further two. Oh well boys and girls time to move on. Go Dragons
