Being an anarchist, I'm not too fond of stalinist state control. The soviets had an opportunity to embrace the true ideals of anarchy to some degree, but the fat men at the top got greedy. They lost me when they started killing the air we breath.

But I'd like to visit the new Russia one day, just to see how people are coping with the western capitalism that they had to accept. I'm sure there's a few old anarchists who know the true meaning of freedom - even if Gulag life robbed them of the experience.
