Dragons statement: Player breach

How hard will NRL360 come down on Arrow? After all he was recently a guest panel member on the show not that long ago. Something tells me it will blow over quickly in his case.

Ever so right tbrV , if they are honest johns then they should give him the rounds of the kitchen as they did the Dragons .

In my mind this has the potential to actually cause an outbreak not only in the Maroon team , but every one whom has since come into contact with him - including staff and fellow guests at their accommodation .

What about his roommate , would he not share the same bathroom amenities as Arrow ? And after him just how many other members of the squad have either come into contact with ?

But that is looking at the problem from a logical point of view - not that of the hypocritical hyenas that make up the 360 panel . 🤔

Theres been plenty of talk of embarrassment, Im ashamed, and hes a coward, a grown man doing that, and after hearing that hes lost me etc etc....but can someone please show me or give me unequivocal proof that Debelin was hiding under a bed....and please I dont want its common knowledge, the police found him there, someone at the club told me, I have it on good authority, I read it in the paper, I heard it on TV and radio, and it must be true because they said it on NRL 360.....and lastly please no cardboard cut outs of him peering from under the bed...im serious its ok to throw mud lets see if some of it can stick........I'll wait

Mediocrity and entitlement have been the standard at St George Illawarra for so long, from the board down, that the club no longer understands what success looks like.

A very good quote from the article. Who can believe that the peanut was dragged out and not have the finger poinTed at him for been a big part of the problem.

Just hearsay from a sports writer... and others repeating it

IMO it sounds too bizarre to be true.

Blessing in disguise is how I feel in this breach.
Vauhan is gone and we have others on notice, if they step out of line they may have their contract ripped up.
Except for Vauhan and Norman I feel the punishment is a bit hard on the Dragons. Fines would have been sufficient for first time offenders.

Hewi I agree and it was a very truthful article written by Webster.
It all stems from the top down. That Andrew Gordon bloke and Doust, have been hiding under more than a bed.
They have been missing in a foggy cloud of their own self importance & entitlement, avoiding the blow torch of angry fans.
Nick Politis, Chairman of the Roosters, rules with an iron fist and total respect. Gordon rules with a limp wrist & Doust has a finger up his own arse (Self Hopoate)

Surely Arrow should have got more than 2 weeks for his breach for even greater stupidity as I am sure everyone would of been aware of the Dragons situation and the Maroon's would have been told of what was and wasn't allowed during the origin camp. I also read that he is likely to have to isolate for 14 days and his 2 game suspension coincides with this so in fact he will miss 2 games he is not eligible to play in. Surely the dragons can then stack their team for the bye round and claim it as time served. I am sure some other teams would have done itand more importantly got away with it.

I’ve just looked at that article again with peanut talking about Vaughan not been a leader. Is that the pot calling the kettle black FFS. He wouldn’t know a leader if it bit him on the arse and by this article I think he’s implying that he was.

Agreed Coffs but you have to include Craig Young in the fiasco as well. He has been involved administratively every step of the way over the last 30+ years; and what has he delivered? He is an absolutely protected species. There was some remote talk last year that Craig Young may have assumed the CEO role. God help us.

Broken record I know, but we missed a huge opportunity in knocking back the alternate WIN bid a few years back. WIN held out and low balled us financially and then Bruce Gordon ensured his son was made Chairman. Astounding!

Would i be right in deducing that all players now are on one warning ? Does the club need two or three to rip a contract up and no payout ? In all of this the people ultimately responsible , the Board, get off scott free.

Looking & listening to the press this morning there seems to be very little comment on the Arrow incident.
Has the NRL "asked" the media to avoid talking about it because it may take the focus off the origin.??
Our boys/club have been hammered & rightly so but surely this incident in an origin camp is as bad as if not worse.
The suspension of two games is laughable as he'll be in self isolation during this time anyway WTF.

My thoughts exactely Willow.....not defending the bloke, because along with the others they did the wrong thing no debate there.......some folk have a right to be disappointed and he has lost their support because they feel the club stood buy him during his other dramas and now this, I get that as well....but to hear and read some of our supporters comments that they feel humiliated, embarrassed or cant face their mates because he was supposibly hiding under a bed ..seriously !!!.....
Its amazing how these media people drum up business so to speak when they want a good story and its obvious Debelin was ripe for the pickings ......wouldnt grab the headlines would it if they reported Zac Lomax was apparently hiding in the Vegie patch or Jack Bird was hiding in a bean bag.......

What about Arrow trying to hide someone.. in his bed?
True or not it is not just first misdemeanour either
Where’s the over top media coverage, outrage and supporter shame and how he potentially could of brought the competition to its knees
What happens if he is positive?
Pretty quiet in comparison.. why ?
Is it because he plays for Wayne who also breached Covid last year
The media were relatively quiet after JDB charges dropped especially after what a lot said about him when charged...
they were sitting there just waiting...
He delivered

Arrow should be forced to serve his 2 game suspension AFTER his 14 day isolation period.
