You would have thought the nrl would have learned something from the persecution of jdb and the dogs breakfast that is full fault stand down.

They love bashing up the players and in my view, I don’t see sgi doing much to protect the group.

If I was one of the boys, I would have had enough by now and start playing like the west tigers.

They are not just under the bus but being squished many times.

If I was one of the players I would have just said that there were no people invited and I don't recall anyone there but I was blind drunk so don't want to sign just in case someone rocked up I wasn't aware of or was too blind to remember. Lets move on media thank you very much.

Good on them. Who in their right mind would assist a body conducting an investigation against you the findings of which would be unfavourable to what you want.

The players are well within their rights to have a lawyer check over any document before signing. This whole 'refuse to sign' bs is there to suck people in, including a few posters in this thread.

I get the lack of trust in the ‘Dirty Dozen’, but getting them to make a statement…it is so sad it’s come to this. I doubt anyone at League HQ will believe them anyway (unless there is a confession)

If they’re silly enough to lie again, then they deserve what they would cop.

Well i assume this is heresay but Kent hinted in one of his early rants when he asked the NRL are they convinced the players were telling the truth that there was no one there outside the bubble that they were'nt...hence the witch hunt and affidavits I suppose
Id rather just suspend them for their 1 game straight away against Manly
Even if they had to isolate for 14 days and missed manly game we play the Titans on a Sunday and all would be available for that although would not be an ideal prep
We can still name 18 players for the Manly game with a Development player and or borrowed player as been reported...and we move on full squad against the Titans and rest of year
I hate to have a weakened squad like we will likely have for 4 weeks..its worse

But this strain is uber-contagious.

You think about how small the virus is, it floats in the air, carried off in the breeze etc.

As I understand it it survives on surfaces for awhile.

The club should put the time and resources into ramping up all available prevention measures and not the witch hunt.

It may well be that the comp has to be called off this year. No source @Willow Sir, just a possible scenario.

Masks are critical, but don’t forget your gloves, decontamination and keeping your excursions quick.

Your better distance is as far away as possible from old mate at the shops.

Prevention and planning is better than crucifying the rogue players. Half the people i see outside, they don’t seem to care. Pity.
