I wonder how long until people start bemoaning the fact the day games are slowly but surely being totally eradicated

As long as they have still kept the Storm games on the same day, but I think theyre over reacting when it comes to AFL Games in New Zealand. I mean their crowds arent that good, so whats the worry?

Playing Dragons/Roosters and Storm/Warriors should always be a must on ANZAC day/night.

How many will the Warriors v Titans get?

Souffs, Dogs or even Tigers would have been better choices...

Nein must have put their foot down for these teams to play on Friday and Sunday...

Maybe Canberra at home v Dogs on the Friday ( Anzac Day eve)?

Really happy with Titans v Broncos on Good Friday. Will be the first time I can attend the game at CBUS. Should be a sellout.

Newcastle v Cowboys 2pm

Roosters v Dragons 4pm

Storm play Manly 6pm.

Brisbane v Parra 8pm

Pretty sure 9 has the rights to the Roosters V Dragons game every year. The rest will probably be on Fox though.

Guessing the need to have 5 different regions killed the NZ/Melbourne ANZAC day game which is a shame

Or Warriors were like Storm can we alternate and play the game in NZ. Share the Anzac love and the big gate.

Storm said hell no ...that is our biggest game of their year because at least 30% of our fan base is Kiwi and then add in thr 50% of the crowd being Warriors supporters and that game is a money maker.

NRL backed melbourne...so Warriors requested their own Anzac game but NRL still looked after melbourne by making sure they have a big game against the Warriors.

Warriors always draw a big crowd against Melbourne will they give Warriors a home game.

The sharing the game between NZ and Melbourne is a tough one..

Has been a big winner for the Storm crowd wise,and I assume a big ratings winner for Fox to the extent that they specifically had the rights to this game included in the last TV deal...

You would need to play the game in NZ no later than 4pm local time to avoid a clash with Nein and the Sydney game... would suggest the ratings at that time would be not as good in Aust...

Unfortunately just another example of the TV people getting their way again...

I would've thought they would start maybe Manly v Dogs for ANZAC and keep Storm v Warriors

Brisbane v Parramatta has the potential to become a tradition type game
