Did you watch the game? It's a gross understatement to say he merely 'played a hand in it'. Having said that, the way the Tigers forwards were rolling through the middle certainly set up things nicely for Farah.

And did you read what I posted? You've missed the word "big" - Farrah was playing out if his skin!

You most certainly have that right. I hope we can agree that whatever you feel about Farah, he would be a great addition to the Dragons if the Tigers are paying most of his salary.
Ok I'm with you now.

Yes I agree. But Smith is better than Farah by the length of the Flemington straight.

You are right. I didn't notice the 'big'.

Anyway, Dragons need to sign that homie up! If what's widely reported is true about the Tigers being willing to pay most of his salary.

Smith will probably be an immortal one day...we can safely say Farah won't. I don't think it's even open for discussion.

I agree that Smith has been better than Farah over his career but over the last 3 years, I think Farah has been better and is better at this moment. Also keep in mind Smith cut his teeth in a massively rorting superstar team while Farah was struggling on with a crap team. Then Smith was in a superstar QLD team while NSW selectors and coaches, in all their wisdom were picking Hayne on the wing to make room for superstars like Gidley, Stewart and Minichello (unrelated but just to underline the point) if in the team at all and Ennis at hooker.

But regardless, if everyone or almost everyone disagrees with me, it's fine. It's just my opinion. I just hope more people agree with me that after yesterday's games (Tigers-Warriors and ...... the other game which is best forgotten), it must be perfectly obvious that if it's true about the Tigers being willing to pay most of his salary, Doust and Mary need to sign that homie up ASAP.

Farah no thanks. Tried to dictate coaches.....remember the Sheens saga? Claims he intimidates junior players. Benji and him? Either fight or try to run things themselves. Farah also supported that Tigers guy who signed with us, to not honour his contract (thank god! ) No, I don't think we need him. I'll put it another way.....even if we need him, I don't want him. If, all that is said about him is true, and that is an if, we do not need a selfish, controlling, destructive, albeit exceptional player.

I don't have any doubt he is a real homie at the Tigers. Thinks he is the emperor over there. If it's true about Sheens, I think it was just good sense on Farah's part. But regardless, starting at a new club where he has zero influence and is approaching the end of his career, it won't be an issue. He can just concentrate on playing well.

After watching last Sunday's games, I personally feel it is really urgent.

After last Sundays games I can't really comprehend how any Dragons supporter would be against getting Farah when a rival club is prepared to pay most of his salary.

If we could add Farah to our roster for only $300k per season as speculated by you I certainly wouldn't be upset.

But for all your campaigning on this forum, I have to wonder do you honestly think it's a possibility that our club will make a play for him?

If what is being widely reported is in fact true, I can't see any good reason why they wouldn't make a play for that homie! Unless Dylan Farrell is on about a mil a year and the Dragons are still paying Beale over 500k, given the retirement of Dan Hunt and the exit of that traitorous winger and Merrin, I can't see how it's possible they don't see how it's possible there isn't salary cap room.

And as I said, after last Sunday I feel it's gone from being desirable to being urgent and vital.

You have to give ML some credit, he's certainly persistent. he'll have to get one of his "facts" right sooner or later.

We may be going after and/or be interested in him, but we will not get him.

Is there an ignore thread function?

Yep it's hidden and can be hard to find. Hint *don't click on the thread*
