Looks about right, even with Bennett, i think the knights are at least a year away from serious contention, they are way too short for my mind.
Raiders and Penrith too short also Souths are too short imo, a team with a recognised halfback that didnt make the 8 this year and dont seem to have improved their squad

Raiders should be at least $5001 for the premiership, $1.01 for the spoon.

With 7 or 8 losses from the first grade squad and no experienced replacements whatsoever there is no chance whatsoever of them finishing higher than 16th.

Sounds like you should get great value on the raiders for the spoon when the market opens. Probably get them at $5+

gonna put your money where your mouth is?

Tigers to me are good value, had a horrendous injury run this year and still got to the second week of the final series, was the last team to beat Manly and next year they have added Blair to their roster and a couple of good depth signings in Reddy and Bell. They have also signed Grant from rugby who is arguably the quickest footballer in Australia and has some real size about him.
As for Manly, history tells me teams dont go back to back anymore

Seems like some of the bookies read into the Souffs bullsh*t, they should be lower.

I'd put it to you that they simply see an easy way to get the attention of the supporters so they can line their pockets with a lazy $50 here and there.

$50. But I'll make it back with these crazy odds.

1. Our 2012 halves pairing will be better than our 2011 halves.
2. Fully fit, we do have the best forward pack in the world.
3. We now have a first class coach for the first time since readmission. He will do wonders and make us a legit top 4 team.

1. Will John Sutton be in the halves?
2. Fully fit, any one of a number of teams can lay claim to having the best forward pack in the world. You see, the game is played on grass - not paper.
3. John Lang was a first class coach. When he was appointed, many fans of the club said he would do wonders and make them a legit top 4 team.

Stop for a second - express hope, dream of success and be optimistic - but please, for your own good, give up this air of entitlement and self importance that infests 50uFF$. These grand declarations only serve to make those that make them look silly at best.

The club has done zilch for decades. Nothing.
You can have all the movie stars and Armani suits you like, but until results come ON THE FIELD, it only serves to make a further mockery of everything that 50uFF$ was in that distant era over 40 years ago.

id now argue after recent aquisistions that cronulla are at the right price but they shouldnt be behind the roosters eels and souths.

Trouble is that Parra were too low for the aquisitions they made too. Its righting itself now. I have no idea how they were equal with the Raiders considering they have been as active in the players market as Dugan's skin cream.

Panthers are too low.

And it's safe to have Souffs at 10 000:1 forever.

Tigpies favourites, interesting. I would have thought the retention of Moltzen would have driven their price into the double digits

Are those odds from TABsport? I bet with IAS online and the market is a little different.

Knights - 8
Tigers - 8
Manly - 8
Storm - 9
Warriors - 10
Broncos - 11
Dragons - 11
Souths - 15
Bulldogs - 15
Cowboys - 16
Eels - 19
Raiders - 26
Roosters - 26
Titans - 31
Sharks - 31
Panthers - 34

Some interesting differences.

Why are Tigers such red hot favourites? What acquisitions have they made?

Paying $8.00 with a few teams at $9.00 and a couple more around $10-11 is hardly red hot favourites.
They have kept the majority of their team together from the past two fairly successful years.
What would you have them as?

Adam Blair?

But really 2012 looks wide open to me.
Melbourne were shown up badly in the finals without Blair,
Dragons were shown up as a one-trick-pony,
Manly have fallen apart,
Brisbane looked lost without Lockyer,
Tigers have lost a heap of people including their half,
Cowboys stalled without T Sims,
Warriors have lost Cleary.

I'll make only one prediction. Newcastle WILL make the 8 again.
