Early tip: Sandow won't see out his contract

We wanted him cause we were desperate and Souths made sure we paid top dollar for him.

Top dollar is a million a year. Sandow is on half that.

I didn't hear of anyone else madly trying to sign him.

Well that would have kept his price down then.

Sandow has created more line breaks, and kicked for more metres and more 40/20s than all of our halves put together since Tim Smith.

Just saw on NRL360 that Sandow has the most missed tackles in a regular season from 2009 until 2012 inclusive and is coming 4th this season. Statistically he is the worst defender in the game!!!

No it wouldn't have. If someone is desperate enough to want something they will pay above and beyond what it's worth regardless of the number of over buyers interested. In this case Souths maintained their interest up to the point that Parra were willing to buy him at overs. His current demotion on top or last years only confirms his status in our team and in the league. If he was any good and undervalued a team with a 'good pack' would be eager to sign him.

Those stats are most impressive Pou but how many games have we won?

You didn't know that?

Good on him for improving his defence this year. The banning of the shoulder charge has been a blessing in disguise.

all that shows, is the poor quality halfbacks we've had on our books. It says nothing about sandow.

How could they sign him when we've got him locked up until 2015?

So you reckon Hayne is shit too? How many games has he won?

And that has stopped other teams signing contracted players before? Where was all the interest from other teams when we were signing this great halfback below market value?

Hayne has missed the best part of two years through injury and has many more facets to his game then Sandow.

So you agree we had to sign him? Every team needs a quality attacking halfback, and we didn't have one.

At least now we have a guy who has proven his attacking ability. Even on Monday night he was responsible for two linebreaks. Imagine how he'd go behind a strong pack.

Probably as well as he went at Souths, when they outscored every other team during his final three years there. How did they manage that without a decent organiser?!?

And of course they didn't make the finals which proves Sandow is shit. Just like Jarryd Hayne these past four years.

They already had halves on contract. Remember, we were the only team without a decent halfback. We constantly whinged about our shit kicking game and the fact that our only linebreaks came from Jarryd Hayne.

Sandow fixed both of those problems.

Hayne has missed the best part of two years through injury and has many more facets to his game then Sandow.

So the number of games Hayne has won is irrelevant? Makes me wonder why you would bring it up then.

I anticipate a picking apart of this post via a break down of quotes and the "if you can't convince confuse" approach.

BTW some very strong points Springs but all good halfbacks benefit from playing reserve grade.. Don't they?

I think the expression you're looking for is "If you cannot beat them will brilliance, baffle them with bulls%^t"

Yeah Sandow has fixed our problems.... I hate to see what we'd be like if he hadn't fixed those problems.

Please listen to Sterlo re: Sandow. He states that if 'If the game is not coming to you as a halfback you have to go to the game and grab it by the scruff off the neck."

He states that Chris has had little involvement. We haven't seen that with Sandow. Tallis then asks the old chestnut about forwards being dominated etc.

Listen to what he says. He is the expert not Pou, not me, nobody here.
