The Pou monster is still asleep so all is good. I'm busy again today, when he awakes can someone tell him I said Hi?

DUMPED Parramatta halfback Chris Sandow has been ruled out injured and won't play in the NSW Cup tomorrow.

A leg injury has saved Sandow the embarrassment of turning out for Wentworthville in front of a handful of spectators at Parramatta Stadium.
The $550,000-a-season playmaker was axed following last Monday night's 50-10 loss to Manly.
His return to the NRL will be determined following Parramatta’s clash with Penrith tomorrow night.

What's more interesting is that he picked up those 9 points in the first 3 weeks of the season and hasn't gotten any more since.

Kelly played good today but I am also a sandow fan. I accept sandows defence is pretty bad but also he has a very good attacking game. I think Stuart would have been happy with Kelly's performance tonight considering who he had to work with in the spine and how much better his defence is. It wouldn't surprise me if Stuart looks to offload sandow, if kelly improves on tonights performance, which considering his contract would be near impossible. So if Stuart decide Kelly is the half back to lead us forward does anyone think sandow can fit into the side in another position?

I believe he has all the attacking skills to be the perfect bench hooker but doesn't have the defence. He could come on twenty minutes into the half and with his running game (only needs a bit of space to make a break ), speed of the mark, kicking game, could really give us the x- factor . Would it be possible to get him get to maker as much as possible and tell him to tackle around the legs with the hope he gets someone to help him out.

Just an idea - most likely not possible and don't even know if I agree with it but worthy on a discussion. If Stuart decides to go with Kelly it is unlikely we would keep a $500k player in reserves.

I think bench hooker is an option worth trying.

I think Kelly is the best option in the 7, certainly worth persevering with. But Sandow offers some good attacking options in other ways. You would need to come up with a completely different style of game plan to accommodate Sandow though.

Leave him at half. That is his natural spot. Not even Ricky himself in his heyday would work miracles behind the set of forwards we have to grace the field today. Poor service from dummy half doesn't help either.

I think if Sandow is at half then Kelly has to play somewhere. He seems the only player in the whole Club that has any kind of organisation skills.

It'd be hard to drop Pritchard from his bench role imo. It gives us a much needed change of energy and he's learning and improving all the time.

If Chris is to break back into firsts this year it becomes a choice for Ricky between either:
Kelly v Sandow at 7 or Roberts v Sandow at 6, with one guy missing from the 17. At the moment that guy missing out is Sandow.

Next year with Norman coming to play five-eighth, Roberts playing union and Kelly's future uncertain, Sandow will be in there somewhere - presumably starting half if we announce another hooker signing. So he may as well play to Ricky's instructions at Wenty and get ready for 2014.

By the way gentlemen in the frantic push to sign Sandow back in the Osborne era I heard last night that his contract is back ended so much that he will be earning $750k per year for the final two years of his contract.

If we get rid of him the pain will extend.
