DWZ really deserves a shot at fullback as he would be as effective as Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is at the Warriors.

But the only changes will be when Kiks and Yeo come back next week.

He got hooked though right?

Edwards probably gets hooked if it wasn't for the DWZ thing last night.

Yeah he got hooked. I remember it because I was there at Parramatta Stadium, it was painful to sit through it and more painful the walk back to the car park. Sammut had a shocker most of it was from simply trying too hard. e.g. Trying to get out of the in goal and getting stripped by Luke Burt for a Parra try.

Yeah if DWZ wasn't off for the knock/injury then Edwards gets hooked.

Sammut, now theres a blast from the past..........Miniature muscle man with zero ability....

You have no idea mate. He had a heap of ability. His problem was that he was a selfish player who tried the miracle play a little too often rather than play the percentages. He also got shunted into halfback which wasn't his real position, he was certainly more of a 5/8. If he had had good coaching that tempered his impulsiveness he'd have been a very good player. But we had Elliot and he could not coach 1/2's to save his life and the rest is history.

What's DWZ had 4 errors in 3 games himself?

He hardly is setting the world on fire. The 6 errors count the 2 strips?

Edwards has made twice as many errors. A couple costing us tries. 6 errors in one game is next level.

He's not attacking the ball like DWZ and he seems hesitant in everything he does. He had a full uninterrupted pre-season. He needs to gain confidence and recapture form. That should happen in NSW Cup. He looks like he is second guessing himself as he does everything. He has great instincts normally.

We have an international quality fullback sitting on the wing. We cant afford to keep hoping this is the week Edwards comes good. Which will happen at some point. I'm certain of that. He's still young and works extremely hard. But our team is not better off with him in it if he's down on confidence and form.

Obviously Ivan will pick him. Ivan will stick by his top 17. We just need to pray he comes good soon.

2 of those errors were strips though. That 1st try it was DWZ's kick to stop Edwards should of dived on it and not picked it up but he was cleaning up a DWZ error.

A ball playing FB would be great right now

It wasnt a DWZ error. He was pushed off the ball while trying to get it. Edwards however had a clean shot at it and butchered it.

He let himself be stripped of the ball twice.... he should have learned after the first time and the whole team should have had more respect for ball security after Cleary had it stolen.

6 errors is inexcusable from any player. He just didn't learn from his mistakes or his teammates. Repeating them all.

So why not a penalty then?

if he had an issue with how he holds the ball. How is he going to fix it mid game though? It is something can be fixed but mid game no chance with the wet ball

One of them was very doubtful. He was held by two tacklers, one of the tacklers fell off, he was getting ready to play the ball, and Munster pinched it. So glad we only have to play Melbourne once.

Won us a premiership in the lower grades with an individual try in the last minute, also carved out a successful career in England where he still plays to this day. Talented player who just wasn't quite up to NRL standard

No guarantee that anyone else in the one doesn't get stripped in that same situation

Dude that is a shit take trying to put that try on DWZ who was pushed off the ball.

That is a penalty every day of the week..... God only knows why it was allowed.

We should be picking DWZ at the back and leaving Edwards in NSW Cup until he regains confidence and form.

Saturday night wasn’t the first bad game Edwards has had this year. He also had a shocker against Parra.

DWZ will get our sets off to a much better start and help get us rolling down the field. The Kiwis regard as second to RTS as their FB, and good enough to be captain of their team. It is mad to leave him on the wing in the hope that Edwards will come good in a game or two. That game or two might be the difference between us finishing 8th or 11th.

Which wouldn't make the error of Edwards stand. So my point is the ball shouldn't of gotten to Edwards to be knocked on. It is a different game if that is called penalty
