Didn't drop his bundle like previously and was pretty good for the rest of the game, he looked the most confident ive seen him all season. No hesitation receiving kicks, quick taps, solid runs without being manhandled as well.

He just doesn't have that quick catch and pass like Cleary really wants out of him, not yet anyway.

Which is why I don't think he gets re-signed beyond next year.

Probably lifted the whole team tbh. Instead of going into his shell, he seemed to want the ball more. Nearly slipped through the line a couple of times as well. I thought he had a great game all things considered.

The whole back 3 got back to what suits us. Both wingers gained almost 200m Edwards following the ball. Certainly should be the blue print going forward

I’d prefer one of the wingers to have raw pace, though. Mansour isn’t an attacking weapon at all, To’o is tbd on that front. But we need a genuine try scoring threat.

We don't really use our wingers in attacking parts of field either so atm metres gained is a must. I did noticed we tried to spread it more last night. Until we regularly spread it wider then we don't need attacking wingers. The ball doesn't seem to get past the centres.

All part of fixing the roster over the next few seasons

But if we want to make the next step we need to.

At the moment we can’t score in the final 20, wingers are important for that. Ours can’t best their man, nor are they acrobatic enough to make good dives.

Did you see the try To'o scored in u20's origin last year?

1st thing we need to do is get Luai in there as more than a fill in. See what he can do to creating then re-assess exactly where we need to strengthen. Maybe Centres are needed instead type of thing

Yeah To'o can finish, Mansour not a bad finisher usually. Its just the lack of pace that worries me.

Fair enough. I still think Mansour needs to be moved on, we can’t afford a winger who isn’t an attacking threat.

I agree but I have yet to see either centre or a half for that matter put a pass on their chest. Usually goes behind or something maybe Luai and a ball playing fb is enough, maybe need a centre

Mansour's positioning has been at fault several times for that, including once last night. He's too flat too often. I understand confidence and physical attributes being down after injuries but that should be elementary stuff for a NRL winger.

Don't want to be too down on the guy. He played well last night. But that's the kind of stuff that has me close to breaking the TV.

I agree to an extent, but I think he's important off the field if we want to get the team unity & culture back to what it was. Seems a pretty important member.

If we can find some other attacking threats in the backline we might be able to make that work, but the problem is we basically have no one that can find the line by themselves.

Our backs has to be one of the slowest in the comp

Whare/Mansour can’t be in the same team, they’re pedestrian.

Doesn’t matter with Mansour, he doesn’t have the pace or athletic ability to find the line unless he’s wide open.
