Hmmm, very interesting that Taylor reportedly (Ch 9) didn't like the thought of working with Anderson.

Not surprising in hindsight. Jason Taylor wanted someone in the position who wouldn't be seen as a threat to his position. Someone who could fill the role, but would not be considered for the Head Coaching job. Daniel Anderson is a former coach of two grand finals clubs and still could fill a head coaching job somewhere, probably didn't sit well with Taylor.

Remember Taylor has been burned before. When Taylor was at Souths, Shane Richardson appointed John Lang as a "football consultant". Taylor wasn't happy about the appointment and how it all ended at Souths, who could blame him.

Granted he is the go to man for the media I don't see anything too wrong with the interview. No more critical then anyone here. If he applied for the job (warranted or not) he deserved a call. As for his opinion on the coach he said he doesn't know him but the players seem to like him, hardly earth shattering criticism. He obviously doesn't like DA and that's his prerogative.
