Is it me or are we taking our sweet time in talking to coaches? We should have been talking to coaches as soon as Ricky handed in his notice

Who's to say we haven't met a deal with someone?
As I've said before, the 2 big candidates are Henry and Taylor and when Ricky left both were involved in the finals. Now Henry isn't, but JT still is, I don't think JT would want to talk or have an announcement made while he is still in the finals...

We have seriously dropped the ball in this area, I've always maintained that the moment the speculation about Stuart's future arrived we should of given him an ultimatum with a week to think about it than basically approached a potential candidate with a promise to offer him the role on the proviso that Stuart walks, we would then negotiate, draw up a contract and make an announcement within 48 hours of Stuart walking, which would of been around 3pm that Friday afternoon... We're now in a ridiculous situation where we may still be without a coaching staff a few weeks out from November
Dumb dumb dumb
Why not? It's a head coaching job.it's his future especially when Neil and others ate probably available to talk
Unless he wants to stay as an assistant coach
Do you really think rushing in an appointing someone is the best way to go? I think the next coach is a critical appointment for the club - one that should not be rushed.
I believe that a thorough interview process should take place to determine the best candidate.
What you are suggesting is no different to the scenario that gave us Hagan and Kearney, and possibly Stuart.
It the predicament and precarious position that the club is in right now we should take the quick thinking process, and i think theres enough quality candidates out there to do that, that's just my opinion

That's a fair call regarding JT, if it is him I expect him to be announced about 2 to 3 days after the roosters finish their 2013 campaign
Not being a smart ass but who are they, in your opinion?
