I did feel sorry for Hindmarsh, he does not deserve that.

Why doesn't he deserve it? He wasn't any better than any of the other players.

I really don't get why anyone is feeling sorry for Nathan Hindmash, he's part of the problem. He's too old, slow and he can't break a tackle to save his life, he is supposed to be a senior player leading by example yet he was a passenger last night. With all due respect to him and what he has done for the game, I think it's time he hangs up his boots.

Personally I don't agree with booing your team, but if the team is going to get booed then no one should be immune.

As long as the fans continue to blame the coach things will never change. Its the playing culture there that is leading to these performances. This is a first grade football team that can not even do the basics like playing to the whistle. A first grade coach should not have to teach his players such basic rugby league attributes. IMO Parra need to remove most of there senior playing group (Burt,Hindmarsh,Poore,Moi Moi,Smith etc) and show faith in the young guys like Sio and Blair. Then with the cash they would have go out and sign themselves and enforcer, a dependable frontrower, a dependable 5/8th and a quality backrower(Zeb Taia can be that and is on the outer it would seem at the Knights plus his an eels junior). Instead of turning on yet another coach its time to evaluate the players role in this debacle.

When the Eels scored the try their fans went crazy with excitement. They regarded this as the big turn around but it was not to be. I honestly feel sorry for them paying to see their team getting flogged every week. I hope they get a better effort soon.

100% agree....but against Warriors (with hayne on field we scored 2 tries in the opening 8mins) Burty gets dropped (rightfully so) but there is a massive backlash from some of our fans. Hindy won't ever get dropped he will retire at the end of the year i feel. Blair has played well with the exception of last night) Sio is exciting when on his game, we need a new backrower and hooker.

A player like Te'o and Zeb would be good buys. and also a decent hooker who can simply feed the ball well and quickly to give our halves time!!!

When you go through 3 coaches in 5 years and at no point does the club improve then that's a sign its a lot to do with the culture not the coach. Last year was Parra's managements fault with the rubbish they signed and now 4 games in with a side Kearneys still putting together and people want him sacked shows just how bad the culture in that club is. Maybe its time Parra management took a good hard look at themselves and the culture in the joint instead of signing off on yet another redundancy.

Hindy being better than the rest when the rest are shit looks good on his resume. As usual, the Eels will always remain a stepping stone and never a foundation. A supercoach is a once in a hundred year occurrence at the head of the river but better to learn to swim in the shallows for Kearney

us dude. might have been 09 or 10. Well least thats wat I think. Para fans though your teams in a rut. We know how it feels at Manly "98-03", but this is the time we you as supporters have to step in and get behind the, Eels.

Sandow was an expensive gamble that might have payed of for the Bunnies, Para can't do much about that, but if they ditch the coach who wood want to go there.

If I was him I'd smash them in fitness training, bring in some Army PT instructors to rebuild the team both physically and mentally.

Teo would be a great pick up also would add some much need muscle to your pack. Yea Matt Keating goes alright but there is a lot better players floating round. I think a dependable 5/8th would be a more astute buy. Roberts and Sandow are both individualists and neither really controls a game. You need a 5/8th who can get ball to his outside men and can just get a good kick away to settle things down because Hayne and Sandow have a tendency to try and score off every play sometimes.
