There are no excuses for tonight's performance. The coach lives and dies by the performance of the squad. This is the third season in which our McGregor coached team has started the season very well - showing us the cattle is there - only to fall away in the second half of the season. It is up to the coach to keep an eye on fitness and ensure player fatigue is a factor in the teams performance.

Mary cannot be excused for failing 3 seasons in a row. He makes the same errors and does not learn from previous experiences. It's time to sign on of the following coaches:
Bennett
Hasler
Maguire
JD
Toovey

Couldn't agree anymore McGregor needs to walk out the door with doust at the end of season if he has and pride or respect left in him towards the club, players and most of all the fans. As a fan I can't take watching another game as it's embarrassing and frustrating.

Just watched the presser and feel better now as they have assured we will make the top 4..so it is back to work Monday and they have 3 games to turn it around and it all starts next week, (the big light switch and turn around in form I think ). He says...our line speed and hard ball running was good.in the 1st half..and yeh the 7-0 penalty count against...oh and the sin binning...and Widdop injury.
I knew it was just one of those bad days at the office..happens to us all.
We only lost the 2nd half 18-4, something to work off and build and replicate for next week.
As the coach says...it is not about how you are going now, just remember how we got here and what we were doing to get there. Wise words Confucius

What an insipid performance tonight, probably the worst I’ve ever seen from a Dragons side.

Someone else said it earlier, once JDB dropped that ball on the second set of 6 tonight they lost their heads.

I can cop it when they turn up, put in and lose but tonight was bullshit. No effort, no enthusiasm, no urgency and no plan B from Super Coach (I assure you I’m using the term sarcastically).

At this rate we won’t win another game this year.

Yes it looks like we are gone this season. Hard to say why form has tanked so sharply.

Must say 7-0 penalty count in 1st half hour is very unusual.

Anyone remember frizzel’s 1st early run where he charged 20 metres odd and the parramatta bloke held on to him and wouldn’t let go to stop our momentum. When we finally got the ball played the eels bloke stood in the play the ball ruck. I was waiting for the penalty and sin bin.

One teams great ‘linespeed’ Is another’s offside.

Anyway, like everyone here I’m gutted that we could at least make a go of it tonight.
