I recently (like yesterday or the day before) read that he has played too many NRL games. Though I think the guy was talking about Pauli Pauli.
Interestingly, Pauli is named to play in the NSW Cup finals this week. He's hardly played for Wenty this year though (Toutai neither), so I wonder what the rule is.

[FONT="]Level Two NYC, VB NSW Cup and QLD Cup[/FONT]
[FONT="]OR[/FONT][FONT="]a) [/FONT][FONT="]A player will be eligible to play in the final series of matches in the competition in which he played the majority of or equal number of premiership games prior to the final series commencing.[/FONT]
[FONT="]OR[/FONT][FONT="]b) [/FONT][FONT="]The player has participated in a minimum of eight (8) premiership games in that competition prior to the final series commencing.[/FONT]
[FONT="]c) [/FONT][FONT="]A player will be eligible to play in the final series providing the higher grade (NRL) is still competing in the NRL competition. [/FONT]
[FONT="]OR[/FONT][FONT="]d) [/FONT][FONT="]A player who has qualified in a lower level or a player who has qualified to play in the VB NSW Cup Final Series will still be eligible to play in the NYC Final Series. [/FONT]
[FONT="]e) [/FONT][FONT="]A higher level qualified player who has failed to gain selection in the NRL Final Series and is playing in a lower level competition Final Series will be required to have participated in two matches throughout the lower level competitions Final Series to be eligible to continue playing in that Final Series therefore eliminating any of the previous eligibility rules.[/FONT]
You'll also note the last time we had a team of the year representative was the last time we made the NYC finals - 2008.
