As usual there is no need to find fault. Taylor did well in a bit over half a season with the squad built by Brian Smith. His record was much poorer at Souths in Crowe's early days, and worse again at the Tigers.
You would have to agree though, he was a decent coach with a decent squad, much like your current argument with Sticky.

I suspect he would've been the coach for a while at we just signed him.

That's good to hear i think it was 2020 before covid hit the fan we certainly had some dramas. Sorting out my Grandmother's season ticket.

We haven't had to deal with them since.

But back in the old parra stadium days it was horrendous dealing with issues.
I'd bet BA dosent have such problems with his Nannas season ticket. Eh @Cloeel

Possibly. But there's also some evidence that he was a fairly toxic influence, despite his footy brain.

It's funny, because Emjaycee was only yesterday calling for reasoned footy talk, but when someone puts forward a considered opinion critical of the coach's strategies, it is merely derided.

Funny that.
I think Emjaycee comes across as captain of the Brad Arthur apologists tbh?

I don't see Gronk as being an apologist as such - he's trying to be positive about our chances, and given our poor showing on the weekend comes across as a realist. And I suspect Poupou Escobar will just defend the existing coach whoever it is, maybe as some sort of ingrained respect for authority at all costs trait?

I don’t see MJC as being an apologist at all. The other two you have more an argument for but Pou will always support the incumbent coach. He’s done for as long as I can remember.

He wasn't the first or last coach to have issues at the Tigpies though

I'm of the view that coaches with high level tactical nous need that strong roster to be able to bring out their best. Otherwise, their spending all of their time just getting the basics right, which isn't their speciality.

Possibly. It would depend on how the finances are looking, and who else is available. Ciraldo could be the next Kearney ffs. Flanagan is my favourite but he is unemployable according to the big end of rugby league town. So my answer is I don't know. I do think if our club sacks him it won't be a knee jerk decision.

Miss the eight or lose in week one of teh finals and sack him immediately.

Let an assistant take over the reins (including Mitch) while the ad for a replacement is up on seek.com to fill the ongoing role for return to training in 2023.

I agree and feel sorry for Jake, this is none of his making because he's not going to say no i don't want to play. But surely there are more important things for the club to be worrying about than some booers???
it would suck to be a footy player and only play 5mins each week
