News ltd are worried that the info they got from the leaker is not the full story and they didn't check into it and could be made look very silly if we get a fine or very small point penalty, so now they are saying its all on Greenberg so if the penalty isn't as harsh as they have reported for the last few weeks they will just say Greenberg is soft and didn't come down hard enough.

Sounds like they may even be realising we won't get a penalty at all, and so are picking a different target... one that they can get more mileage out of into the future, once the hysteria they built around us (Watmough's TPA?) has faded into nothing?

Regardless of what happens the media have well and truly won this war on the back of an agenda driven campaign...everyone believes we're going to lose points, in fact James hooper was on triple M said its not matter of 'if' but by how many...

Not all of the media. Frontline took the piss out of A Current Affair type shows. It didn't look at the print media specifically but you could certainly put Newscorpse in the same category.

True... but it's not hard to extrapolate from current affairs style tv, to what tv news bulletins were and have become, and then to what passes for printed newspapers (or news websites) these days.

Am really surprised how many "punters" still believe everything they read, see or are told.... The days of actual journalism, and reliable agenda-free news have sadly passed, and so should our belief in any truth in media / sports reporting.

ie. would people show clips of some of what Kent has said over the past 6 weeks, and ask him to explain it, and when he doesn't, really go hard at him?
Will anyone defend us in the print media, and call t out for what it always may have been - a destabilising campaign?
Will some one call out that other great investigative report Nick Whateverhisnameisoff from the Telegraph? He gave us hell on the Grill team on several occasions.
Will someone on Sportsnight on Sky News call out Bourbon Bec?
Who will call Hadley out?

No to all of that. None of those merkins will be held accountable.

They will just move onto the next their agenda which i think will be about Watmough getting paid out. Kent has already started
