If Seward's confidentiality agreement has been void then what is stopping the GO5 revealing every dirty litte secret about Seward (and possibly Greenburg) to the media?

What good would it do? It's not as if Seward is looking good on the basis of the evidence that has been made public.

So far all we know about Greenburg is that Seward asked him a question about how they organised TPAs.

It would do no good what so ever for us. i was just responding to Gronk's post about if the GO5 wanted to take Seward down some more.

And it's only our club that gets smacked with the 'where there's smoke' mantra

In our case, where there was smoke there appears to have been nuclear fusion.

Oh, and not sure this bit was in the earlier article quoted. Bevan Paul is refusing to take the footy club job unless he gets 1 year guaranteed. Can't say I blame him.

Parramatta Eels hierarchy divided as Leagues Club boss rejects interim CEO role

Chris Barrett
Sports Writer

The crisis engulfing Parramatta went up another notch on Monday as Leagues Club boss Bevan Paul rejected the terms of an offer for him to be installed as an interim Group CEO, confirming a picture of a strife-torn club in which senior figures are bitterly opposed.

On another eventful day at Parramatta explosive transcripts from recorded board meetings that were included in the NRL's salary cap were published by Fox Sports.

Hours earlier Paul, the chief of the Parramatta Leagues Club since 2013, had told board members he would refuse to take over as CEO of the football side of the business unless he was given at least a year in the job.

However, the Eels board, which has only four remaining members due to the suspensions of chairman Steve Sharp and directors Tom Issa and Peter Serrao, has been intent on only offering the position in an interim capacity of a matter of months and have baulked at meeting Paul's conditions.

There is a void in the Eels executive following the suspension of CEO John Boulous and football operations manager Daniel Anderson while they respond to breach notices which implicated them in the club's heavy salary cap-related sanctions.

Paul had been expected to fill the vacancy and endeavour to steer the beleaguered club out of turmoil but he has refused to accept the additional responsibility unless he is given the football club CEO's role for a year, arguing he needs a tenure of at least that length to execute the kind of changes at the Eels that are required to turn the organisation around.

As of Monday both parties were refusing to budge, leaving the football club effectively rudderless until a stand-in CEO can be found. Three of the remaining members of the Eels board - Paul Garrard, Tanya Gadiel and Andrew Cordwell - have also refused to support the other director still in place, Geoff Gerard, as an interim chairman after he emerged over the past week as Parramatta's de facto spokesman with a series of public comments. That stance has also contributed to deep division at the Eels.

A source close to the board told Fairfax Media: "The majority of people in the Eels camp are focused on the team, our staff and our reputation. The people running around trying to fill any power vacuum are not in it for the Eels but themselves. They have not earned respect at all during this time."

Garrard said on Monday night the board would be meeting on Tuesday, with the CEO position on the agenda as what he said was an urgent need to clear up mixed messages coming from the club.

"We'll be discussing a number of things and one of those issues is certainly the fact that we haven't got one voice going forward," Garrard said.

"There doesn't seem to be a spokesperson and Geoff Gerard is speaking to the press and giving lots of personal opinions. We're concentrating on responding to the breach notice and if Geoff Gerard has got another opinion, for the next few weeks I'd like him to keep it to himself."

Paul declined to comment when contacted on Monday but with neither he nor the board appearing likely to relax the conditions on his would-be appointment Parramatta are back on the lookout for an experienced CEO to take charge.

It is believed that to agree to filling the breach at executive level, Paul wanted to be given a mandate to bring about significant change to Parramatta's operations including taking control of a full review of the club.

The board, however, favours a stop-gap option, arguing that Boulous has an employment contract as CEO and deserves an opportunity to defend himself before being replaced.

So. . . .

The Premiership club, that rang true for me. Something I remembered was set up and then pulled later.

In 2014, the Dyldam Parramatta Eels officially announced the formation of The Premiership Club at their Hall of Fame Legends Gala Dinner at The Star in Sydney.
The Premiership Club is a premier business-networking group for Western Sydney and beyond, with a specific focus on creating strong and meaningful business relationships while powering key strategic community initiatives through the Eels Community and Education Foundation.
In 2015, a group of seventy-five guests were introduced to the Premiership Club at the Eels' Round 2 match against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium, hosted by Premiership Club CEO, John Chedid.

Two of the Premiership Club's newly-appointed ambassadors, Parramatta Eels legend Nathan Cayless and UNE Lecturer Dr Xanthe Mallet took the opportunity to address the group on the benefits of creating a business network that will ensure players are provided support on and off the field and aiding local charities and the disadvantaged in the community through the Eels Education and Welfare Foundation.
Across' the Eels Round 5 Easter Monday game and Round 11 match against the Rabbitohs, more than two hundred guests joined the Premiership Club members at ANZ Stadium to share their passion for sport, education and community welfare in Western Sydney.

Professor Edward Blakely, Founder of the Future Cities Collaborative, and Dr. Sev Ozdowski, Director - Equity & Diversity at UWS, delivered impressive speeches on the countless opportunities businesses are offered through the Premiership Club to join forces with one of the biggest supporter bases in the NRL and the premier sporting brand in Western Sydney.
The Premiership Club CEO John Chedid says the relationships formed so far are only glimpses of the potential for the Premiership Club.
“This is a historic opportunity to be a part of a unique venture bringing together Western Sydney’s icons of business and sport,” Chedid said after Round 11.
“The Premiership Club provides unlimited opportunities for companies, corporate CEOs, business leaders and aspiring young entrepreneurs to enjoy the many benefits of networking together in a friendly environment."
"Collectively, they can make a significant contribution to the Premiership Club’s strategic vision and goals."

Now I also remember in the 2015 election, Denis's Ticket had a Video of he and a Former Board member asking about what happened with this Club and Why Moss was not involved.

More research as I read the "Extracts"

I've just read the transcript and Seward is as guilty as the rest of them. He should face the sale bans as the rest. And it's hard to see how the rest of the board isn't involved in this.

Can anyone confirm the official reason Seward left the club?

Greenburg isn't on record.

Seward was so full of shit he may have been lying about even getting advice.

He sounds like a name dropper trying to make himself sound important.

There's no real evidence against Greenburg in those transcripts.

If Seward receives no punishment or sanctions (his name has been protected in the media), then it shows that Greenberg is protecting his mate. This is something that the Commissioners should be overseeing as there is a clear conflict of interest.
