Just went on the filthyspammers site ....and it looks as though Phil Sim is angling for a board position. It was him and those morons on that site that started the voting block Sharp and his cronies that have destroyed our club. Hopefully members will see through these factions and we get an INDEPENDET BOARD. anyone that has anything to do with the current board should never ever be allowed anywhere near the club.

A lot of merkins on that site think that Phil is the 2nd coming of Christ and think he has all the answers.

What they may be saying is that 'you set these deals up to try to cheat the cap, we are going slap the originally contracted amount on your cap regardless of whether the player retires, or whether the player signs an extension'.

They're not forcing the club to pay the $$, they're just adding it to the assessed cap expenditure (as a punishment)......assuming they are doing anything at all of course.

The idea is that if the deal was a sham, you shouldn't get relief from penalty just because the player retires for reasons not known at the time the sham was arranged.

But let's just see what the actual final decision is.

What if it was a dodgy TPA for a player on a 10 year deal who was still playing? Screwed for 10 years or do we have a chance to scrap the deal?
