i don't think it's as scary as Etu though...

I think Walker has found a second wind in his career and he'll have a half decent season.
Etu is very average. Agree 100%. Billy Rogers is a bolter though. The Storm rate him highly.

By the way where is Marmin Barba, injured ?

I think we no longer have a TAHU, nor an INU, so SK felt compelled to name an ETU!

Its a scary team on paper - but I reckon we'll put in ... kick arse!

Marmin Barba thought he was Sandow and shoulder charged a player and that was the end of his shoulder in the Panthers trial

Ryan Morgan has kept filiga Brien and Loko out.If any of them where named everyone would be jumping at joy....Surely this guy has something to be picked before them?
Im hoping reddy or Hicks get a late call up thou for etu

Certainly the team selected for the season opener appears well short on experience but then again experience does not necessarially win footy games.
If this side included Mateo, Inu and Tahu there would be hardly a mention re the make up of the team as it would "look" much better on paper.
The fact is these 3 did not "put in" last season so for mine lets give the "younguns and new guys" a run and see what enthusiasm and a structured game plan will provide. It certainly cant be worse than how those 3 pretenders performed last season. Hopefully good coaching will make an enormous difference.

People are bit hard of Etu, I think he's a good winger but long term Im not too sure. He did alright in his FG games in 2009 and it was good he was given a shot.

People here are making out hes the worst winger but we had Inu last year?? Least Etu( if he's marking Manu) will have a go, Inu made virtually no attempt in the final game last year.

The centres are a worry I must admit, but the Warriors arent much better. I dont think Walker played there much for the Titans but we'll see how he performs. Same with Morgan havent really seen him.

I dont mind the bench, hope Shackleton and Webb get more game time. Expect to see Smith drift out wide in defence to help the backs.

Its not a bad lineup, given the injuries we've had I reckon we'll go alright.

lets face it'the eels are favourites for the wooden spoon and when i saw this side it shows its gonna be a long season...its a bad side and it shows that we havent spent to the caps capacity (thanks to anderson) so we have to get used to big scores put on us this year as you cant win a comp if you dont have the cattle..!!!

We might not be favourites, but I'm looking forward to a slow change in our culture that Kearney will bring. I don't care if we get beat by plenty as long as we stick to the game plan and show some structure.

Does Burt always play on the left no matter what? I see he has been named on the right wing but I'm guessing he won't play there then because that is one hell of a mismatch....don't know much about this Enu character but he could be the in for a working over if it is the case then.

It's not a worry. For some reason, teams don't like to bomb Burt.

They're worried he'll let it bounce and then he'll pick it up and race 100m to score.
