80 minutes, 17 runs, 134 metres, two tackle breaks, 29 tackles, 1 missed, 1 ineffective, 1 error, 1 penalty

He was the best edge forward on the field tonight.
Tohu Harris' stats are similar and he didn't make any stupid mistakes. Something Kenny has consistently done throughout the season. You need to provide context to the situation Kenny's stupidity has shown itself, which stats alone don't show. I think a capable edge forward (perhaps Marata) could provide sufficient go forward and defence, without the brain farts.

What fking brain farts tonight?? He threw an offload....

People are so hung up on one poor game last week. Kenny was great tonight and behind Ma'u is very comfortably our second best backrower. You've just admitted his stats are comparable to an international!

Alvaro made 33 tackles in 35 minutes (none missed). He is chasing attackers across the field to get numbers into the tackle. That's how he gets left on the ground so much. If he only tackled the blokes running straight at him, like so many middle forwards, he would be in a better position after his tackles. But our defence wouldn't be anywhere near as strong.

By comparison, King made 32 tackles (one fewer), 3 missed in 56 minutes (21 extra minutes). That's why he's a backup and Alvaro is a first grader.

Yep and Vave made 16 tackles and Matagi a massive 7 tackles.

Was it him missing or the team as a whole?
It might be coincidence, but 53 games is a fair sample. Since his debut (round 26 2013) Edwards has won 29 from 53 (54.7%). In that time the team has won only 15 from 36 (41.6%) without him.

I've also been told by a member of the club's coaching staff that Edwards is a highly influential leader in our squad. If he wasn't such a train wreck off the field he would be in the official leadership group.

Tepai and Kenny have similar stats except Kenny ruined any momentum we had when attacking Melbourne's line with a man down. If it was a one-off then fine. But his brain farts are consistently f**king us up.
He does seem to be overplaying his hand in recent weeks. Might even coincide with Moses joining the club.

Kenny's the kind of bloke that fires up his teammates. You saw the difference immediately in his comeback game, running 30m to rev the blokes up and celebrate with them after they forced an error, stuff like that. His energy is infectious and he lifts his teammates. And yeah, high energy players make bad decisions every now and again and they make mistakes. But he's also a very good defender, tough, hard running and skillful. I'd much rather have Kenny in the team than out of it.

KE can be a shade off an origin player. Wont quite reach that level but could be a pinch away from it.
Out of form players are getting into form like Semi,Ke,Vae,mosesbevan.

Need Tepai and Norman to start to fire. Then we can dream of the big dance. Do not count us out just yet. Lot of work to do but lot of potential still.

WTF merkin? Vave made 8.9 metres per carry in 14 hit ups. Alvaro made almost a tackle per minute with none missed.

Brown is a star but he's not alone out there.

This was a comment about us not making any ground "in the middle" of the field after the first 30 mins, mostly coming out from our own tryline, compared to the Storm, rather than a comment on the actual performance of the "middle" forwards.

If Semi didn't make those breaks early in the game on the edges we would still have struggled to make ground..in fact after he stopped making breaks out wide bringing out of our own line, we stopped making in roads into the Storm defence.

No we didn't. We kept carving up on the right until we stopped sending the ball that way
