The ruck penalties were fair, but we probably got 2 or so penalties for stripping when we probably dropped it. We were the better side, even if we didn't play at our best.

That's what a lot of them can't seem to understand - we were better.

They're blaming the ref because they needed his help.

W/Tigers had only 1 other player to top 100m

Seumanufagai 10 runs for 108m

Eels who topped 100m

Norman 142m
Semi 116m
Faraimo 141m
Mannah 167m
Ma'u 147m
Watmerkin 110m
Wicks 112m

Tepai 93m

I find it difficult to believe that Tedesco didn't run for 100 metres.

Faraimo is an underestimated player. He doesn't look flashy but he does good metres off the play the ball. He's got potential, there's more to like about him than Falou on the wing (who's probably not really a winger).

One OTHER player (apart from Tabasco). Tabasco ran for 215m. An absolute freak of a player.

If we came with the frame of mind last night like we did against the Dragons the week before, the Tigers would have been out of the contest after 20 minutes and we would've racked up 60 points by the end of the match. That Tigers team would have been completely blown away if we had our minds on the job at hand.

It's this mentality that's holding this team back from the success it wants to achieve.

He goes forward faster than any other player in the team. This is a skill this club has lacked for over a decade. Don't underestimate the influence of 'go forward' has on any team. If he can learn to win the play the ball he could become extremely effective, but he isn't alone in this skill deficiency at Parra.

Until Parra grasp the concept that Go Forward in attack and winning the Play The Ball (particularly in defence) are keys to being successful they won't be seeing Premierships anytime soon.

Respect? I've stuck up for Chrissy more than most, but his defensive efforts in the last two games has been abysmal. He was the direct cause of one of the Tigers 3 tries last night.

As for TA stats, you really do need to take them with a grain of salt and judge them with your own gut. Last night was a perfect example. Chrissy got the TA for Kelly's try when Corey did all the work setting up the try with the break. And for the Tigpies, Cherring got the TA for their last try when it was all set up by Tabasco.

Apart from his early mistake where he dropped it in the play the ball, the other 'bad' things he did were courtesy of the awful service he got from the players inside him, passes going to ground, or behind him. Of the 141 running metres attributed to him, half of those were probably running backwards having to pick up the ball!!

I thought he recovered well after that early error. The other 'untidy' things in his game were nopt really of his doing...

We won and we are still complaining!! Yeah we didn't play the best but the Tigers aren't that bad either. Has a side even had 50 or 60 points put on them this year ?

Yeah the Tigers had injuries and players out but so do we!!! But according to some the eels are the only side that shouldn't be affected by injuries.

Tigers have pretty much been in most of their games this year. Panthers only beat them last week by a few as they lost a centre during the game. The Tigers only a few weeks ago gave the bunnies a flogging.

What is wrong we our mentality? It's getting better each week. In our last 3 weeks we were actually behind at half time and still won, plus two of them were away from home. And we aren't meant to be able to win away from home.

Last night Tigers put 16 points on us in a short period of time but we were still able to regain control and win.

Yeah he's kicks into the Tigers players were awesome. Almost as good as his attempted tackles on Tedesco

I hope you turned it off when his first kick of the night forced a knock on, he put semi over untouched and he kicked to semi and was there to back up for the try.

If that doesnt impress you then your mind is made up. Maybe you have "stereotyped" him to put it lightly. Thoughts?

Nothing wrong with our attitude imo. Poor attitude, and we capitulate and lose.

Instead, we hung on and won.

I'm certain that Chris Sandow will never play in an NRL Final Series.

He was at souths when they were shit and the eels when we are shit. Norman has only played in one finals game in his preferred position and lost. There are players far more average that have probably won a grand final in a balanced team and players like hindmarsh and hayne that havent.

Proves shit all. If you have given up on this year making the finals then stop watching.

Just because we won doesn't mean we played well. Until we're a consistent Top 4 team that is a chance of winning the Premiership there will always be areas were the team must improve.

It was our approach to the game that needs to be questioned. After leading by 12 points the Tigers got into a position to put on 4 tries because of opportunities that we gave them, either through making poor decisions in attack or through a lack of effort/urgency in defence. Both of these facets come down to mental approach and attitude.

There was countless incidents in the match that related to our approach to the game that I could individually point out that caused these issues, but I would have to watch a replay of the match to specifically point them out, but issues like winning a scrum 10 metres out from your own line and then making three offloads, or looking to offload a ball in your own half to a player that is in a worse position than you, or failing to get into position at marker because you've not shown the urgency to win the play the ball area at all costs, all come down to approach towards a game.

I gave up on making the finals before the season started, but I'm a realist and the NRL is the closest sporting even in the world, so any team is still a chance of making the Top 8.

With two players in the halves both on $450k plus for 2016 we've made our decision and Sandow needs to move on.
