Alot of the time suckers like yourself keep taking the bait over and over again that is left out....

well that just proves the whole point if all he is doing is running around "baiting" people on internet forums

for the record i don't think that's all he's doing

i've have been thinking the exact same thing

i don't give a f**k how old, how slow, how injured he is - he is still light years ahead of anyone else in our team defensively and will be a monumentally massive loss

he has more urgency than any of the other guys out there! If Hindy was on when sandow did that chip kick i can guarantee you Hindy would have scored that

i dont get why we went back into the safety first no offloads mode this week all our wins came from 2nd phase

Teams make as many offloads as the opposition let them, and even then they're not a reliable indicator of success.

Offloads vs Melbourne
14 Eels
13 Storm

Offloads vs Brisbane
13 Eels
8 Broncos

Offloads vs Tigers
7 Eels
5 Tigers

Offloads vs Roosters
6 Eels
13 Roosters

Offloads vs Titans
14 Eels
11 Titans

Whether offloading or passing wide before the line, you have to earn the right to use the ball. If we can't get the opposition on the back foot, our passes are only going to put us under more pressure. You would have seen that today.

Probably does, doesn't mean the bullshit praise he has for a coach that was one of the worst in history is correct, does it?

That is still to be proven.
Kearney still has a long coaching career ahead of him. Unlike Langmack and Coleman and others.

Well enjoy your last 2 games supporting a winger who won't contest a bomb, can't put a guy into touch when he's off balance and 20cm from the sideline and has about 2 runs a half. He will be missed by a lot around here.

260+ first grade games (under 6 different coaches)
123 tries (club record)
1700+ points(second best in history despite not always being first choice kicker)
2 grand final appearances

Don't think anyone puts him in the same class as Hindy, Price etc. but if you honestly believe he has not been a good player and great clubman then you obviously have personal reasons to hate him!

Whether he deserves his spot this year or not is up for debate (although he has looked better since super coach left) but that is not his fault, he does not pick the team!

I agreed with what he wanted to do here, and I think he's the kind of coach we needed. I still think he will turn out to have been good for the club.

Some change doesn't happen as quick as we'd like, and plenty of people resist that change, which is what cost Kearney his job. He obviously lost at least part of the playing group.

Don't know if he's ever praised him. I've only ever seen defence of his position.
Just like my support of Kearney, I've never said he was a great coach. Just supported the fact that we shouldn't sack him for the reasons of stability.
Now that he's gone, he's gone.
My support is now behind our next coach.

Twist it which ever way you like.

Suity

He has stated that he has laid the ground work for the future, there is zero proof of that! He has talked up the recruits for next year like they are going to fill Hindmarsh's shoes easily.

I just don't understand how anyone can defend the indefensible, being Kearney? He is one of the worst coaches in the history of the game. How can you twist it any other way?

What bait? You have never said a positive thing about any of our players.......are you suggesting you are playing around? If so, well played........you are certainly persistant for a laugh.......

One of the worst coaches in the game won a World Cup and a Four Nations?
Didn't have much success at the Eels, but you give him too little credit.

It is technically possible that we could have a worse coach than Kearney. Its unlikely, but it could happen.

Kearney was the wrong person for the job with the current squad at Parra.

You are 100% correct, he was the wrong person!

I agreed with what he wanted to do here, and I think he's the kind of coach we needed. I still think he will turn out to have been good for the club.

I agree that there needs/needed to be change, never argued that!

A rookie coach who had SFA experience was one of worst decisions our club has ever made!

Stuart will make a much bigger impact imo and I don't really rate him that much but I am interested and excited to see if he has learnt a few lessons and what he can do with a club with our resources.....

Mate how could you know that after less than two seasons? By his win-loss record? Michael Hagan, after 42 games of his career, had won 29 and drawn one. He had also won a premiership. Does that mean that after 42 games he was the best coach in history, because his win percentage was about 70%?

Or do you think it was maybe too early to tell?

For the record I think Hagan has been our worst coach since Hilditch or Cronin. He did massive damage to our club and part of the reason Anderson and Kearney struggled with shit halves and weak depth in their time here.
