Exacta mondo . The other day I posted Phil Sims letter to the NRL which had no reference to him running for board and was actually written as a fan ( no mention of his site or political direction ) yet it was deleted , why ?

Maybe the question keeps being asked because so many people regularly post on this site who have past ties helping out one political ticket are allowed to keep posting their political views, without disclosing their association (e.g. handed out pamphlets, scrutineered, even one the other day who designed website for a ticket). It might appear (to some eyes anyway) that their political posts all seem to stand, yet the election-related posts of others newer to the site but who are being upfront about their association get deleted?

Just offered as food for thought.

I dont know who's up who and who's connected to what, I dont live in Parra any more and I'm not privy to all that political crap

I can only make a judgement call and contrary to popular belief I'm human and sometimes I'm gonna get things wrong but such is life

I can only make a judgement call and contrary to popular belief I'm human and sometimes I'm gonna get things wrong but such is life

No worries Twiz. I'm just explaining why some people might see this site as not balanced/biased in a certain way in terms of what comment (with associations to a ticket) it allows on elections and what it doesn't.

Maybe I can help by starting to report any new posts with political opinion made by the usual suspects who (based purely on admissions made in posts on here over the years) do have an association or history of involvement (handing out, scrutineering, designing websites etc) with one of the tickets, and then you can make the judgement call about whether to keep allowing their political/election comments here to stand. That's about all I can think of doing to help with the perception of consistency and balance among observers or new comers to the forum.

(To give some credit to them, some of the long term posters with a known association to a ticket have started to be a lot quieter this time around, in following the rules of political posting that you've outlined and clarified. But there are others who haven't imo respected your message.)

Even when it's sourced ? Wow . One would think that something that was written by someone who may or may not be an official at our club whether you think it to be a well written letter or not would have some relevance on a Parramattaforum . Seems thàt there's an underlying issue with you Twiz . I wonder if it was some dribble from anyone else but Phil written to the NRL or another KMart shirt wearing Ray Price finger painted letter to the NRL it would be plastered accross these pages . So I ask why would it be deleted with a source ?

there are 2 issues here and the political content is just one of them and it will not be discussed publicly not to mention your sudden regular posting here at LU now there is an election coming up

Mate I understand perfectly . I understand the letter had no reference to an election I also have read the sites rules and understand that they are manipulated by the judge and jury on the site With reference to " the rules ". Also many references to my sudden blogging so I'm assuming that unless I have 3000 posts my opinion is not welcome here ?
