I know Mark's ticket will put the Players First:

More money
More time off
Less training
Less community engagement
Less compulsory education programs
Less games
Shorter seasons

Players First. They will put the Players First.

Wouldn't that be political posting ?

www.parrafirst.com

its OK if you're not on the ticket, you can discuss it all you like

its only not allowed if the people on the ticket come here to promote themselves, we dont want LU used for political gain for anyone running or anyone who is part of their promotional team

its a fans forum

Just for clarification, does that "promotional team" include anyone who hands out how to votes for one of the tickets, or maybe even scrutineers for them? I can't see why it wouldn't....

And if so, that means a lot of people on here who have been vocal supporters of a particular ticket on here in the past would now need to muzzle up a bit this time around. (Or maybe just declare their political interest at the bottom of every political post they make?)

I was a vocal supporter of 3P during the last Leagues Club Board election and I still support the good work they have done in regards to the renovations, eventually seeing good sense by making the Swarm an official membership package and having the odd fan Forum etc.
As for Parra First, I completely agree with their stance on keeping our home games at Parramatta Stadium and their vision of restructuring the club to return the control of our football team to our football club. I also like that they are focused on creating both professionalism and balance of representation with their candidates.
I won't be following any how to vote cards, nor will I be wasting paper or insulting our members intelligence by telling people how to myself. My hope is that our members choose the candidates that will ensure a well balanced and professional board, but above all I hope we collectively choose some of those who place a high priority on our fans.

essentially its a fans forum and fans can say what they like (within our forum guidelines)

if you were part of their support team including handing out promotional material then you would be deemed part of their team and you cant use LU to assist your team in their build up to the election

just to elaborate, we had problems in the last election with certain campaigners making statements about what was said in the boardroom which could not be substantiated with a 3rd party source or link in accordance with our guidelines, so the posts were being deleted so that LU cannot be accused of slander. So rather than be accused of taking sides and be subject to threats against LU we simply just outlawed any posts from anyone involved with the elections.

Its all about protecting League Unlimited.

I hope this explains out stance on political posting.

Interesting Twizz. I think you'll find there were a few regulars here who posted supportive posts about a ticket in recent elections, but didn't disclose their association in handing out promotional material for the ticket when making those (political) posts - or refrain from making those supportive political posts altogether.

Glad that's been clarified for this time.

No issues with the rest of what you mentioned at all - it's just common sense imo.
