The Warriors are often guilty of carrying around too many ego's, and it showed when players clashed with Daniel Anderson and Cleary.
Exactly. But why is this? Anderson not been given a chance to change that culture was one of the biggest mistakes that the Warriors have ever made as a club in my opinion.
Ever since the Kiwis won the 2005 final under Bluey there seems to be too much emphasis placed by NZ league players on 'mateship' and 'brotherhood'. 'Doing it for each other'. Now this may be good and well when it comes to a short term tournament such as the Tri Nations, but when transferred to a season long club competition? Not so much I'm thinking.
These guys need to be focussing on being the best they can be and making the top team each week. Competing WITH each other for spots. This whole brotherhood thing is ok, but only to a certain extent.
Our club lacks professionalism. Starts at the top, goes through the middle management with the whole 'jobs for the boys' scenario, and filters down to the playing ranks with their inflated egos and lack of desire.
