2021

1. James Tedesco
2. Valentine Holmes
3. Latrell Mitchell
4. Nick Cotric
5. Tom Trbojevic
6. Cameron Munster
7. Nathan Cleary

14. Kayln Ponga

That team looks freightening. By 2021 they would be a well oiled machine and I don't know how we'd be able to match them.
WOW!! I honestly forgot about cotric and didn’t mention Tom trbojevic because I had ponga playing #1 and Holmes and addo-Carr on the wings.

Imo there’s no way tedesco gets picked over ponga as ponga is a dead set freak who will be the biggest name on the RL planet. Even in both codes with the wallabies or even the AB’s sniffing around him.

England were missing 10 players who were in the World Cup squad just 12 months ago, this wasn’t even England’s strongest team.

Widdop
Watkins
Hall
Gale
Sam Burgess
McMeekin
Roby
Walmsley
Taylor

In addition there are a number of players who many fans think should have made the team for this series but didn’t

Danny Richardson halfback from St Helens
Tom Johnstone winger from Wakefield Trinity
Liam Watts Prop from Castleford
Mark Percival Centre from St Helens
In my nearly 30 years of watching RL I’ve never seen England/GB so stacked with wingers. It’s absolutely ridiculous!!!

You’ve got mcgillvary, makinson, hall, Burgess, Johnstone, charnley and if he can hold up Dom manfredi.

I think I've underrated the English team. When you look at Englands team on paper, it's just the Burgess brothers. I'm not going to all of a sudden hype them up because I've still got my doubts as to whether they could beat the Kangaroos despite beating us twice.

A lot of criticism over the refs but the thing for my fellow Kiwis that I want yous to consider is that - Englands presenting the refs with a case for a try or no try more so then us. That in itself is a problem. Our attack just switches to auto-pilot and we don't look like scoring.

Full credit to England and it was a good game for me up till the last 5 mins or so.

It was a great game but the kiwis should have really won with the team they put out on the field. Very disappointed with NZ overall.

I defo think Ponga will be the better player overall but I think Tedesco will be then Ponga when they're in superstar teams like the Australia.

I always thought Jarryd Hayne was a better player overall then Billy Slater but Slater was always picked in the Australian side as he's always been consistent as he's always worked around superstars and fitted as part of a team whereas Hayne was more individual brilliance. I see the same happening here.

England 'A' 2 - 0 New Zealand lol

Did the video ref stop us missing out on the 6points we dropped by missing try conversions??

Lol

I’ve been very disappointed with the kiwis in this series. It’s a good job for them that we were missing 5-6 key players.

Tonga will pump them again next June if they don't figure it out..

And it's a good job they held out the Aussie's a few weeks ago cos if they had lost that and then lost this series 3-0 they would have slipped to 3rd in the RLIF rankings....the Aussie win has probably saved them....for now

Congrats to England, the much better team on the day, pulling away in the second half. Not sure what’s going on with the Kiwis, they looked good most of the first and then fell asleep at the back end of the second. Johnson did nothing but put up kicks, where was the variation from the first half last week where his runs on the last actually created chances. So typical of Johnson though, in a week when his contract is being discussed he goes completely into his shell.

I was happy that there weren’t ref issues like last week, yay for neutral refs. But, league is a bit messed up in that an eye gouger can escape any kind of sanction and the commentary team can suggest that it was ok to rake a face in a tackle but try not to get near the eye. If you’re raking someone’s face and you get their eyes with it that isn’t accidental. Seriously WTF!

I think Bromwich (K), not J - yet again he was one of our best, needs to go next week and Hughes needs to be put on the bench, we needs some spark at dummy when Smith is off and Hughes might be able to provide that.

Meh...its not like NZ were at full strength either. Still missing the Dally M as well as a few starting picks not to mention still rebuilding after losing the likes of J.T, Mau, Taukeiaho and Fusitua last year. Give them time and a better halves pairing then they will improve. England are lucky to have Wayne Bennett.

Beaten out wide just like the warriors.

Centres and wingers who cannot defend for shyte. Can tackle, cannot defend.

Make the Warriors or kiwis outside backs make decisions and you will win, they will reliably make the wrong choice and tackle no one often.

England really putting the tradition back in RL. Bias refs haven't been so blatant since the 70s.

Haha yeah Aussie refs are bias towards England now!

If you played them anywhere except in the UK, I'd be confident the Aussies would win.

I'd be confident Australia would win wherever. I'd say our current Australian side would beat this England side 9/10 times. Don't forget that at our full strength we weren't just beating England, we were beating them well if not thrashing them.
