Anyone had any news on broadcasting in australia for the series? Getting very close now and havent even heard a rumour. Blake solly told me a month ago the process was underway but god they love a last minute decision for this sort of thing.

Would prefer fox sports btw

Yeah I've been looking out for it.. asked in a couple of places.. Nothing.. fox doesn't seem to be covering the NZ vs Leeds game.. It's sad that it is so undervalued.. I mean there is table tennis on Fox but nothing has yet been said about covering world class rugby league.. It's a bit small minded!!

Its says im the link...george,walmsley & joel tomkins

My bad, I meant beyond what's listed. There's no prop depth at all, you'd think there had to be some guys behind Burgess and Walmsley who'd deserve a call rather than stacking the squad with light back rowers. You've got Farrell, Bateman (probably as a centre) and Currie in there who'll be monstered as a combination. And it isn't like Whitehead, Ferres or O'Loughlin are going to be able to cover prop well, and Westwood is past it.

Surely guys like Watts, Clubb, Amor...someone?

Then again the kiwis didn't pick any halves, so there's a sense of evening up there.

Looking like a development tour with 3 of our top 5 players out.

Hopefully Taupau steps up. I can see our forwards getting us plenty of opportunities, what the halves can do with it remains to be seen.

Actually, when was the last time you beat us in NZ or outside of England for that matter?

True...that just highlights what i keep saying...we a favourites on home soil...you are favourite down under...

The sooner you accept that england & NZ games are 50/50 they easier it'll be to accept the whooping you lot are gonna get lol

Stats from 2002..

Played 18

GB/eng 9 wins

NZ 8 wins

Draws 1

Oh look nigh on 50/50...If we go to the 2000 RLWC it is acutally 9 wins each

Ps 5 of the kiwi wins came down under

I actually really want to know when the last time England/GB beat us outside of GB.

I'm thinking it may be 1992. When I had a kiwis poster signed by Hugh McGahan lol.

You have to think all the pressure is on England for this series.....If they don't beat NZ, then it really shows how far behind England are....especially with the Kiwis missing their halves.

I just cant believe England aren't down these ways playing more games for preparation for the RLWC. Especially considering next years Four Nations is in the UK.
