Ah yes try and polish that great turd that is the English gameBecause that was the biggest crowd in this series.
I have no problem with samoa touring france, in fact I've been advocating for it you gronk!Ah yes try and polish that great turd that is the English game
from the same poster who tries and talks down the nrl
only you could find. A problem with samoa touring France
One out of tenI have no problem with samoa touring france, in fact I've been advocating for it you gronk!
Bit embarrassing for the mighty NRL that a dead rubber in UK drew a bigger crowd than a championship final in NZ hahah
one out of ten? when's the last time the Kangaroos drew a crowd in Australia of 40k plus for a game against a second tier nation? Or a test match in australia drew 67k for test with two teams not featuring australia? They struggled to get 40k for a final they were playing in lolOne out of ten
In all seriousness, if Tonga, Samoa, Aus & NZ are going to be regular tourists rotating through the Northern Hemisphere, what do you think would be the realistic crowds France could pull against each of those sides? And what do you think the crowds could grow to overtime if France got regular tests every year post season?I have no problem with samoa touring france, in fact I've been advocating for it you gronk!

the best french crowds in last 30 years have been in the 10-14k range. Interestingly Avignon has tended to draw more than perpignan. Be great to see PNG tour and play a 3 match series in Avignon, Perpignan and Carcassonne. In all seriousness, if Tonga, Samoa, Aus & NZ are going to be regular tourists rotating through the Northern Hemisphere, what do you think would be the realistic crowds France could pull against each of those sides? If I remember correctly they pulled 10 or 11k v Wales about a decade or so ago when that rivalry was hot.
yeh Im just playing with him and his hypocrisy.I don't think one hemisphere celebrating their disappointing crowd figure over the other hemisphere's more disappointing crowd figure are the kind of debates we want to be having in the game. I want full stadiums everywhere when the national jerseys get pulled on
Yeah I'd love to get to the North of England and the South of France for a RL tour. Would be awesomeyeh Im just playing with him and his hypocrisy.
I love Int RL, for me its the best part of the game. Been lucky enough to travel to follow RLWC's and watch tests. Disappointed as we were planning on going to France for next one. Hopefully its held in the islands and NZ and we can go travelling again to see it. I'll def aim to be going to all the Ashes tests in 2025.
You reckon Tonga, Samoa, PNG, Fiji might be able to crack 10k if those fixtures prove to be more competitive?the best french crowds in last 30 years have been in the 10-14k range. Against top tier they would get in the 10-14k range, problem is they get flogged so it would get thin pretty quickly.
TotalRL is reporting that Kiwis are scheduled to tour in 2027 and Kangaroos in 2028 (https://www.totalrl.com/rfl-to-reco...-with-wigan-hull-and-non-heartlands-in-frame/)When is the next Kiwi tour of England scheduled?
Ozv GB at the old wembley in the early 90's was something else!Yeah I'd love to get to the North of England and the South of France for a RL tour. Would be awesome
yes I think if France could beat them they def would. French are incredibly nationalistic (I was in perpignan for a HKR game on Bastille day and it was insane!). They'd get over 10k for sure if France played regularly in Sth of France and didnt get hammered. You reckon Tonga, Samoa, PNG, Fiji might be able to crack 10k if those fixtures prove to be more competitive?
The comment was what I rated your troll attemptone out of ten? when's the last time the Kangaroos drew a crowd in Australia of 40k plus for a game against a second tier nation? The following article from the IntRL (https://www.intrl.sport/news/ashes-series-kangaroo-kiwi-tours-revived-in-international-calendar/) confirms that as well.
