They started with Hohaia at 6, Wheeler on the bench and Makinson didn't even make the team. Pretty poor selection policy from Royce. I don't know how they can justify giving a 4 year deal to Hohaia, I reckon that will come back to haunt them.

Couldn't agree more.

Hull KR 36-36 St Helens FT.

Foster lands a penalty to square it up with the last kick of the game.

Other scores:

Bradford 16-54 Wigan
Widnes 18-38 Salford

Hull vs London kicks off in an hour.

At least Salford get to have a win.

Sucks to be Widnes right now....

Its a double whammy.

Not only do they suck on the pitch.
But there fans also live in Widnes.

Ouch.

No Makinson? FFS. Unfortunately it's time for Wellens and Gardner to collect their retirement packages elsewhere, let the kids step up.

You say that but Royce sees them in training and picks the team he thinks is going to win. I'm all for giving youth a chance but you can't just play them if the old guy is deemed to still be better.

Do me a favour please guys and let me know what you think about the Moa sending off in the Hull v Broncos game.

It was a hard shoulder which connected with his head. This is a dangerous tackle so you could justify the red.

The two factors that got him sent of though were:
A) that he knocked the guy out which made it look bad, and
B) the Lee incident in the Giants-Wire match. After the abuse that ref has (Rightly) got for bottling it, the ref was always going to reach for the card.

Lee gets sent of on saturday or Rinaldo just goes down hurting a bit and it goes down as a great shot.

Hmmm. Could've gone either way, from the footage I think there's a 50/50 chance Rinaldi bounces straight back up, in which case there's no action - must've hit Rinaldi just in the wrong spot. A difficult decision either way, I can't say he got it wrong as there was obviously head contact.

Yet none of the London players came in having a go at Moa and Tony Clubb looks like he commiserates with Moa after the sending off.

It was a genuine attempt at a tackle, and players know that it was an accident. Thats why Moa was out at the end shaking hands especially with Rinaldi.

Just like Briers and Lee the night before, at the end it was all smiles.

Doesn't mean its not a red though.

For me first contact is with the chest and then the head. Not an illegal tackle for me and I don't see why Moa and Hull should pay the price for the ref in another game being a coward. If that had been an Englishman hitting an Aussie in a Test match we'd (Poms ) all be saying what a great shot it was. Would that have been a send off in SoO?

I'm not saying its right!!

I'm saying why he was sent off.

If that had been my player doing that hit i'd be saying it was a great shot, if it was my player been hit i would of said its a great hit then expected my team to hit 'em back harder.

If your going to shoulder charge someone and get them on the chin knocking them out however, you have to accept its a bit dangerous and maybe you need to alter your technique for next time.

Who cares about what happens in SoO?

I listened to the Hull KR game on radio and couldn't believe the amount of biased BS from the commentators. They are literally the worst in the world for any sport I have ever heard..

Going on about the clock and the supposed extra time they played, do they even have a clue about the rules regarding RL with the time keepers?

Do they not think a ref can call time off when the ball is out of play near the end of a tight game?

Honestly, WTF?

And they can't even call a decent game.

I'm guessing you were listening to Radio Humberside? I love listening to the calls on there, some of the garbage they come out with is hilarious. They used to have another commentator called Doyle Davidson or something who was unbelievably even worse than the current lot, you literally had no idea what was going on in the match but it was great fun to listen to.

As for the Moa hit, it was a fair challenge IMO and as Gentle said, I think the ref was probably reacting to what happened with Tommy Lee and Briers the previous night.

Yeah that's the station, I've listened a few times now and each time they have got worse if possible

If you're saying that other bloke was more one eyed or delusional, I can't accept that, no way. These guys were terrible and for anyone anywhere ever to be more nuts than this lot takes the cake. North Korea or USSR communists couldn't be so biased

Is there any way we could get a short pod cast or youtube link in here that goes for 30 secs or a mins where they are at their best?

Compared to these guys, Laurie Daily absolutely detests St George Illawarra and Canberra while Fatty Vautin wouldn't piss on QLD if they were on fire.

Just to add, I said I've listened a few times and make no mistake, they don't care which Hull side they call, they are as biased with both.

I gotta listen to a derby when I think about it :lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's known as radio Blunderside here in Hull. David Doyle Davidson (3D) played for and coached Hull FC so that's where his slight bias comes from  The other muppets who commentate on the Dobbins are just as one eyed. You should listen to the phone ins after the game when 80% of the callers have only listened to and formed an opinion of the game from the radio broadcast. They're basket cases. I can't remember the last time I listened to RH. I'd sooner watch the scores change on teletext.

I just watched the highlights of Wigan v Bradford and some of Wigan's tries were fantastic, they are looking a classy team.
Check out the pass from Tomkins to Farrell for the last try.

I was saying in commentary that to me, Sam is behind only Slater and Boyd as far as full backs go, and not by much. I have had the pleasure of seeing him 2 weeks in a row now and the lines he runs along with how late he actually hits the gaps are superb to watch. Add this to the rest of his game and I don't think there is a better player in SL.

That offload was awesome, as was his line break and kick to Charnley for the latter's try. He had a better line break and offload a bit earlier in the game but on that occasion the Bulls managed to track back.

He got our MoM anyway :D

Darius Boyd is not in Sam's league.
