I was saying in commentary that to me, Sam is behind only Slater and
Boyd as far as full backs go, and not by much. I have had the pleasure of seeing him 2 weeks in a row now and the lines he runs along with how late he actually hits the gaps are superb to watch. Add this to the rest of his game and I don't think there is a better player in SL.
That offload was awesome, as was his line break and kick to Charnley for the latter's try. He had a better line break and offload a bit earlier in the game but on that occasion the Bulls managed to track back.
