Wide to West was also far more important, it was a play-off semi-final and St Helens were 11-10 down, they ended up qualifying for the Grand Final and pretty much won the league because of it. The Wide to West try is one of the greatest sporting moments I have ever seen and it's hard to see how anything could top it.

I love listening to Stevo going crazy during the replays of the try. Anyone who doesn't like Stevo on commentary should watch that clip, he sold the moment to perfection.

I thought that the Catalans try was better, and a greater achievement because it had more variety of things happening, plus the St Helens defence against Catalans was much more active and aggressive than the Bradford defence was against St Helens.

Interesting point about Widnes' "Ipitch". It might well generate them some money over the course of the season, but they'll get killed by any team with a bit of pace. Firm ground looked to suit Danny Mc, Burrow and the Leeds backline yesterday. Widnes looked like they had lead in the boots.... Standing by my prediction of Betts to lose his job first

And the sad thing was, in general, Leeds were very poor on Sunday. Certainly our worst performance of this short season so far. Had we played with the same intensity as the week before we would have put 100 on them! I don't think Widnes will win more than 2 or 3 games this season.
