Completely agree. Egan, Lodge, Walsh, Aitken already, any other Australian player have now seen the precedent with Aitken, and if they're in demand back home they'll take it.I think there will be a large portion of players who will not move here to live. With the Dolphins after players for next year, things are looking bleak for our short term future. I've been worried about this happening since the start of the pandemic and it will only get worse.
add Tohu to the extended players as wellEgan & Curran have recently signed new contracts and presumably won't go anywhere (both were with the club in NZ - briefly in Egan's case - anyway), Lodge's contract is all player options (lol Broncos) so he can go anyway (and surely will follow his father in law to Redcliffe). AFB specifically signed with us to move away, and also recently re-signed so I doubt he's going anywhere.
The only real question (of the remaining players I care any bit about keeping off the top of my head) seems to be Walsh.
I am disappointed with losing Aitken, but we do have a fair few backrowers at least.
Pay them in UK Pounds, along with a 'my NRL career seems over-vibe', and the whole nuclear family will be in Wakefield tomorrow.Does remind me of Beau Scott, played centre as a young man, did not have nuance required for that position, but a good edge player, will be a decent second rower.
Back to the Saints I reckon, maybe Parra, some Sydney club.
Geez these blokes are soft, cannot be away from Mummy too long. Man up.
FFS as a young man 20-30, I moved states more than once, spent time overseas. Home sick pussies, QLDers miss thier mummy more than most
Anyways pay me 500K AU and will move to Auckland tomorrow.
