theres a very really prospect that the opening game of this world cup will have more fans at it than the last world cup final...

^ Reminds me of the stuff they produce for the Olympics. Really great, just a shame they aren't covering more games.

No games are sold out yet. I don't think there's any point posting speculative figures, especially from TRL where most of the posters are complete zealots. There haven't been any official announcements on ticket sales, so all of that is just guesswork.

Seriously, how often are you going to get to see the Kangaroos play, on TV even, compared to a French game in France? No brainer...

Yeah, I should have skipped Aus v Ireland in Ireland match... But I've been in London 6 years and havent stepped foot in Ireland yet (despite having traveled to 40 odd countries in all of the continents in that time!). The monday fixture time didnt help with the few days of leave remaining for this year!

Catalan match next year it is!

Correct where I am wrong.

Headingley's capacity is AFAIK 20,500.

That was the attendance for the WCC this year anyway.

As for Eng/Ire selling out, that's great news. 25k for this game shows what good marketing can do. Especially when you take into account that every time we play the kiwis at Hudds we struggle to break the 20k mark.

Awsome, great response, well done the promoters! This tournament is certainly going to set the bar high and give the ARLC a big challenge to meet its "best ever" stated goal for the next RLWC.

60,000 final tickets sold

All seating at hj sold out

The two games in red aren't currently sold out Terence so I don 't know where you got that info from. In fact I can't recall seeing any figures quoted for either game from an official source.
