The Max Power episode is awesome and has one of my favourite all time Simpson's quotes.

Homer: D'oh!

Great episode that one. Let us not forget the Spruce Moose, or the attack of the Boogie Man or Men.

The one where Homer goes to clown college.

Homer - "Thats it, you've held me back long enough, i'm going to clown college"

Bart - "I don't think any of us expected him to say that"

In that same episode is a classic moment with Homer doing an appearance as Krusty and beating the living crap out of the Hamburglar for stealing hamburgers and one kid sobbing "Stop! Stop, he's already dead!"

I also love Mr Plow. I dont know if anyone notice in the Mr Plow episode but what cracks me up all the time is when they're shooting the commercial ad and ab is old man winter homer gives ab the biggest boot up the arse ever haha

I also love the episode when Barney has his first drink, classic.

i also like the flaming moe episode where homer gets obsessed with moe and cracks and goes and hes sitting at the table for dinner and everything everyone says turns into Moe haha

and the klown kollege one where he's like "that advertisement had no effect on me whatsoever" then he day dreams about the clowns then he's at dinner and everyone turns into clowns haha love it

My favourite is where Homer becomes a submarine captain. There are so many classic lines in that episode

Captain: I'm a man of few words. Any Questions
Homer: Is the poop deck really what I think it is?
Captain: HaHa I like the cut of your gib
Homer: What's a gib
Captain: Hahaha promote that man


Also the first ten minutes of the episode where Homer wins the motorbike and forms a gang with Lenny, Karl, Moe and Flanders is great but the rest of the episode is crap

I'm not a massive fan of the episode where there's two warring factions... in fact I can't remember what it was about, maybe historical re-enactments or something? But one particular scene had me laughing so hard I cried.

Marge, Bart and the rest of their faction (they wore blue? Can't remember) were sitting around the Simpson lounge room discussing tactics, when Ralph Wiggum comes flying through the window and says "I'm a brick!"

Classic. Sorry about the dodgy description.

I do like the Beer Baron episode:

"Kablammo! Sorry dear, must have been that bean I ate" when Homer's still explodes.

Always gets a giggle in my house.

That and the Scorpio Ep.

Hank Scorpio: "Ever seen a man say goodbye to a shoe?"

Another Season 5 episode - "Cape Feare", when The Simpsons hired a houseboat to hide Bart away from Sideshow Bob.

I especially love the "Mr. Thompson" bit:

FBI Agent: I'll tell you what sir, from now on you'll be uh, Homer Thompson at Terror Lake. (Homer nods) When I say hello Mr. Thompson you'll say "hi."

Homer: Check.

FBI Agent: Hello Mr. Thompson (Homer stares blankly at him.).....remember now, your name is Homer Thompson.

Homer: I gotcha.

FBI Agent: Hello Mr. Thompson (Homer stares blankly at him. Agents look at each other.)

(Much later, the conversation is still going on.)

FBI Agent: Urrrh, now when I say, "Hello Mr. Thompson" and press down on your foot you smile and nod.

Homer: No problem.

FBI Agent: Hello Mr. Thompson (FBI presses down on homer's foot.)

Homer: (leans over to other FBI agent.) I think he's talking to you. (FBI hits his forehead.)

favourite all time episode is when homer is prescribed medicinal marijuana.

the classic calls are all through that episode. specially when he's naming his crowes.

Homer: " thats cameron crowe, russell crowe, gregory peck"

and when he's singing smoke on the water and hanging out with otto in thr attic. basically homers stoned conduct is hilarious.
