The errors Ah Mau produced were actually offloads, which the support players dropped. Not perfect offloads granted, and in a real game you probably wouldn't want him throwing them. Good that he's making those opportunities though.

I agree that Aioli impressed more than the likes of Cooper and Groat

There was a messy play the ball also but yes it happens. If he can produce that hard running against most NRL teams and develop a good offload/pass he will sway me.But at the moment I'm still not convinced with him.

I feel like I may have stood next to Willow at the bar in St.George Leagues tonight. He had Willow all over him. He even got a Reschs.
You should have said g'day Nick. Nothing ventured and all that... would have been great to meet you. I had the blood and bandages on btw.

We all ended up at a table with a good bunch, the usual mob plotting a revolution.

Some positives about the trial. I personally thought it was a good hit out, 'probables vs possibles' as described earlier. Nothing wrong with a reserve grade side stretching the first graders, they need that sort of pressure on their positions. Good on Mudgee for being part of the show, way out of their league but they got a good send off.

Don't know about plodder, but certainly not outstanding.
Is huge, we need him to step up big time. Let's hope he can mature into himself.

Really disappointed with his effort where the rest of the forwards looked hungry and sharp,he was lacking effort.
JDB ran himself into the ground first 15min and looked good.

Groat has a huge frame but is not particularly mobile, which I thought was disappointing. Takes too many small steps which makes him an easy target

Well they did win comfortably and would've been 80pts if they took conversions but hey it's just a trial

Why not send an email to Craig Young with your observations. It may just do the trick.
