That would or should be Josh Cordoba.

He has had a couple of years, and really needs to make a step up IMO.

Need more than one player of that capability in a rotation like the one suggested. I'd prefer Moimoi, Cayless and Kaufusi, Cordoba/Wright/Latimore from the bench.

Grothe, Ben Smith or Burt would be better being shopped than another forward.

Get rid of Burt to make room for Kaufusi. We've got a better fullback there at the moment.

Why do u have to swap a front rower for a front rower?

A little thing called team balance...not to mention Burt is on two fifths of f**k all compared to what Kaufusi is reportedly asking

Grothe I can agree with, his money would be more like what Kaufusi is after. Burt and Smith, like I said above for Burt, are on very little and will still play a part next year. Guru seems on the outer and is probably earning himself what they earn between them (ok, that's hyperbole, but you get my drift :p)

Moimoi, Kaufusi and Paulo?

While there are plenty of metres to be made in that rotation along with Cordoba and Wright (Horo is a backrower/centre) our defence will be even less ordinary than it currently is. 45 tackles between the three of them means that Hindmarsh and his second row partner are going to have to make 60 each.

Kaufusi would be a good addition to the squad but a prop who can play 60 minutes and make thorty tackles and fifteen hitups would be needed as well if you let go Cayless.

I think we have players in the lower grades who are capable of filling roles in the backline next year - Jono Wright, James Grehan, Horo, Iwi Hauraki. Cheaper alternatives who have a reasonable upside in my opinion just busting for a chance.

Totally agree.

Burt is getting paid WAY too much to be the backup FB. No doubt in my mind that Reddy could fill in when Hayne is away on rep duties etc

I think shifting Grothe is probably more difficult than anyone else, as has been mentioned a few times, would he want to go to the UK?

FFS looking to offload easily our best prop all year and keeping an overpaid creampuff in the captain  Kaufusi will be an excellent pick up though, he is only 23 and has played for Australia. He is recovering from a Knee Reconstruction. He will only get better IMO.

This is a terrible business decision, it will make no difference to our side, releasing Cayless would be a win/win situation for all parties, he can inflict pain over in England, we can sigh in relief that we're not paying a dud over 30 $400,000 a year.

Has anyone thought that maybe Fui WANTS to go to the ESL? He'd command a hefty pricetag, and maybe he feels it's about time he started earning big bucks.

1. Hayne
2 Inu
3. Reddy

Theres 3 better fullbacks running around in our team at the moment.

Latest mail has Kaufusi going to NQ or Canberra anyway. Very poor form if we cant lure him here under the cap given the players we have lost the last few years. Gross mismanagement of the cap.

I still would prefer a pack like

13. Mateo
12. Caylo
11. Hindy
10. Fui
9. MK
8. Paulo/Kafusi

I don't think Cayless has enough mobility/stamina to play in the backrow long term. Maybe a game here or there against less agile packs but thats about it.

Am i the only one here not OVERLY impressed by Matt Keating? I think he's got a lot to learn to be a top grade hooker but I dont think he's ready to be a 26 week 80 min hooker by any stretch. I think Kris is much quicker & sharper in everything he does.

Kaufusi is contracted with his club until the end of next season. However, Melbourne gave him permission to look elsewhere, and Cowboys officials met the former Queensland and Australian representative's manager David Riolo this week amid interest from Canberra and Parramatta. "We're as confident as we can be," Cowboys football manager Dean Lance said yesterday. "We're in the race. We're working hard to get him.
"I had five years with him in Melbourne, from when he was a 17-year-old kid. He's a talent - always been a big kid who can play footy, and I think he's got more to give.
"He's 23 years old, he's played for Queensland, had a game for Australia. He's a Queenslander and I think he's pretty keen to come back. We've got our fingers crossed."
The Eels had expressed an interest in Kaufusi, with fellow prop Fuifui Moimoi the target of English club Bradford. However, should the Cowboys be successful in signing Kaufusi, Bradford's attempts to snare Moimoi would be doomed to fail.

He's a solid organisational hooker, more the Priddis or Smith mould of player as opposed to a Luke or Marsh. He's gone well in a debut season, but I would like to see a sparky dummy half off the bench, our best seasons in recent years have had this.

Why wouldn't he want to go, especially if they are offering a hefty pay increase?

If he wants to go , we should have got Kaufusi at the very least. Now we may be in the situation where Fui isn't happy, and his form may reflect that next year.
