Reynolds is average. Behind a big pack even Kris Keating looked good. Reynolds strength is his running game. His ball playing skills isn't great though.

Aiden Sezer
Kieran Foran
Todd Carney
Corey Norman
Jarrod Mullen
Johnathan Thurston
Gareth Widdop
James Maloney

I'd have all these players before Reynolds.

Even Ben Roberts looked good behind a big forward pack in 09...

no he didnt. ben roberts stinks

is jake friend off contract? id like to see him at the sharks. he's quick, is a good player and isnt isaac degois.

basically no degois.

on th weekend he ran backwards from dummy half 4 meters and got tackled. he also threw an intercept try.

thinks he's tony romo or something.

f**k, I didn't know we were ranking on potential, rather than actual performance.

As for Widdop, he was great for the Saints on the weekend, but he showed very little down at Melbourne when he wasn't been spoon fed by the big three. Jury is still out for mine as to how good he will be.

And as for Campo DkoR, if we were comparing Campo circa 2009, then I'd agree with you for sure, but the 2014 version of Campo is a shadow of the man that scored a Blues jersey.

Do you watch rugby league at all? Frankly, I'd take any of the 3 I mentioned over Reynolds in a heartbeat. I'd even take an old and battered Terry Campese. Reynolds offers less than nothing.

The cap increase, Barba leaving - a combo of things.
It's only going up 250k next season... Hardly enough to lessen concerns over the Dogs cap with the players they have "retained". Especially since there's talk of the dogs retaining the services of both JMoz and Grahame, who you'd have to think will both be seeking raises to their current contracts... Seems legit.

A whole bunch will be released this year it seems. Hokko was reportedly on $800,000 (over 3 years), then you've got others who might go too - Eastwood etc... but like I said, I'm against paying that ludicrous amount for Fifita. Absolutely disgraceful. If Greenberg was still at the club, there's no way that would've happened. Like they haven't learned from T-Rex!

Josh Reynolds is pretty much a Travis Burns clone. Awesome competitor, tough, great to have on the field but not quiet a complete player in any position. He's average in the halves, although useless halfbacks wouldn't be helping. I still think his best position would be hooker. Especially with how poor Ennis is.

pretty good comparison. if you had a great half to lead the team around then reynolds can shine, if he's left to organise things you'll be very limited

Why do people think the Dogs are over the cap? Their team is average when you level out the quality of their forwards with the quality of the halves and outside backs they have, only decent outside back they have is Morris.
