Fifitas manager is extremely skilled in getting a good price for his client by hook or by crook. My latest mail is that no decision has been made and they are putting extreme pressure on the Sharks to meet external offers.

Gal, Beau, Lewie, his bro and Heighno are in his ear but as they say, money talks. His preference is to stay at the Sharks and will even take minor unders but he aint going to pass up an extra $150k per year.

In my view the way to stop this happening with the likes of Burgess and Fifita etc is for coaches to f**ken drop em when they sign these contracts for other clubs/codes a mile out from their existing contract expiring. High profile contracts should have the clause written into them that if a player gets dropped, their salary reflects the company they keep. Both of em should be focussed on the upcoming season FOR WHICH THEY ARE EXTREMELY WELL PAID FOR at their clubs. Trouble is, no coach has the cajones to do it.

Bennett could do it but no-one else could get away with it. A coaches career is on the line if he doesn't get results & if 1 of the best players isn't picked, he will lose out & team harmony will be effected.

If Fifita leaves & we drop him to NSW cup, we are cutting off our nose to spite our face. Agree something has to be done about it as it's getting earlier & earlier every year.
