This press release that was emailed to all news organisations?

"Police from the gang squad Strike Force Raptor have issued a consorting warning to a 27-year-old NRL player under section 93x of the Crimes Act 1900," the police said in a statement obtained by Fairfax Media.

My view is that the police warning is on dodgy ground because it only seems feefs visited one felon. But police were under pressure to act to discourage the rl player - bikie association after the Norman, seg, Paulo meal. Nrl no doubt happily working together. Nothing in it otherwise.

It can't be done. It has to be Fifs associating with two or more convicted offenders for consorting for an official warning. The offence is only established if they THEN associate with those same two individuals on two or more SUBSEQUENT occasions. Fifs has committed NO offence. Hell, he may not have even known the person he was with was a convicted offender (I'd like to hope he is smart enough to realise KL is).

Whatever you feel about the law, that's it in a very basic nutshell. I'm neither advocating for or against it so don't yell at me.

Frenz, they only have to be convicted of an indictable offence, not necessarily having hit the bin or be on parole.

Anyway maybe I should just leave it alone.

Maybe we are arguing semantics. If the media ask a question and there's no public interest immunity in play, then they will respond.

In my mind, that is not a press release. Tomato, tomato? Maybe. But I feel it's an important distinction in the context of your earlier claims mate.

If it was a release via email can you pm me, I'd like to read it and I'll flick you my email mate. The dates have fallen off the nswpf media internet archive and I don't google well enough to find it.

When is that from? He can go overseas but if he goes to another NRL club he can line up to take it from us

Andrew would just be David's "advisor" I suppose. I'm sure Andrew wouldn't want to follow in Jeremy and Kade's footsteps...but then again money talks
With A-Fi signed until 2018 he would need permission from the club to negotiate with other clubs. So i suppose he must be the 'advisor ' haha.

After Nov 1 2016, he can negotiate 2018 season I believe.

Joke really.

They can negotiate for season 2018, however, Fifita's current contract runs out at the end of 2018 so Frenzy is spot on.
Doesn't matter though, contracts aren't worth anything these days.

Yeah, the rules can't stop a dinner party or other social event where things might accidentally get talks about.
