Great question quigs. Early on I remember seeing that they supported the NRL, though have no sauce for this. I remember that because was gobsmacked they didn't have an entirely different view.

The players association seem to be a little more vocal now than in the past, but still weak as. They should be screaming about due process.

Was in Syd last weekend and got the opportunity to chew the post GF fat with a few crew that know a thing or 2 about the NRL. There is no doubt in my mind they are picking on Buritto and they know it. Every excuse I heard for why his actions (ie FKL predominantly but to a lesser degree the ref biso) is tolerated in others in the game. Everything from what's said to journos is off limits if you tell the right journo unless it becomes a police matter to he was goaded into what the message means until the journo could eek a story out of it. Now this all depends who you are of course. There are many far more juicy stories going on but those players are protected mainly because they represent the face of the league. In Burritos case he's cannon fodder that protects the image of the so called clean skins. There aren't too many of them let me tell ya. The double standards are sickening. Anyway ill move on. I did get to watch the replay of the test last night. Morgan stunk the game up, Cronk has had his 3rd shitty game in a row and Ferguson was garbage. Jimmy should be in there. Wade is better that third man Sam as well, and a fit Birdy would smoke most on the field.
