I assume the NRL were planning on a Roosters v Storm and Sharks v Cowboys so with 2 interstate sides there shouldn't be much demand, but with Manly now playing Roosters this is going to be a massive f**k up. You cant tell me 15-20,000 packed in at Remondis is not better than 10-15,000 in a 45,000 seat stadium? Only a few crazy people will attend both games
At least the AFL when faced with scheduling dilemma but a low drawing game that could be moved from the City to a suburban ground for the first time in 115 years, they did it. Then this week, same team earns another low scoring game but back to the norm with the main ground available.
Definitely a CH9 decision, they have a lot of pull also getting CA to schedule an entire season of the one day comp in 1 city so they don't have to move their production interstate at all...
