Don’t blame Maloney. I am just as devastated as the rest of you but having watched it live there is no way Maloney was responsible for that loss.
Except for the 8 points he cost us through the Lewis try snd a dumbass cannonball tackle.

He was f**king trash. 6 missed tackles. An error. 2 penalties. 7 tackle sets to Sharks. The complete opposite of last wefk where he was genius

If there was one team we weren't able to face in the 8 it was Cronulla.

No Graham and Dugan. They lost Lewis and Gallen for the second half. Then still found a way to win.

Amazed we even mounted a comeback to be honest. If Cleary kicks the field goal I reckon we go on to win the game.

Maloney isn't the reason we lost...but if we are ranking halves? Townsend>Moylan>Cleary>Maloney...he was outplayed by all three. He will be really disappointed with his performance.

Peachey and Blake caught a cold most of the night. We needed to get them more involved late in the game. I loved the Griffinball game plan for the second half, running up the middle paid huge dividends.

3 years in a row same result...some changes will be made. But great game of football.

I seriously get the shits with our discipline. First half is diobolic but second half is what it should be. All year apart from the Saints game. Geez they need to fix that.

Tough to bow out but didn't deserve a win. Hopefully 1st skill on our next coaches CV is getting team to play for 80 mins a game. Going to be a long off season. Future bright!!

First try was a forward pass! No 50/50 calls! Klein killed us with his blue eyes in the first half.
I only watched on stream in Malaysia but I feel gutted.
Nothing went our way all night! Bring on next year!

I thought it was a great game of footy, the game had everything you could want in a game. The more experienced side won on the night but we are not that far off. I'm upset we lost but love the never die attitude this team has. This young side is getting finals experience every year which is a good thing, can only get better next year, fix the starts and we will win the comp next year.

Maybe we are better rebuilding next year without Maloney? This second half of the season has been atrocious.

If he does stick around next year hopefully we can convince him to retire from rep footy.

Tripster you tripping man.

Stupid penalty leads to run of Sharks possession.

Another stupid penalty leads to a penalty goal (and more lost possession)

Poor defence leads to 1-2 Sharks tries.

Passes constantly hitting the ground.

Goes missing with the ball and in organisation in the last 5 when we really needed him.

By far the worst player on the field.

It should be a must.

He can't fall away again next year. But we also can't make him leave.

Nathan needs to own the side next year cause Jimmy has started his 2nd year syndrome already we need a five eight that isnt a liability .

Cleary just doesn’t have that in his game for mine.

He’s looked better in recent weeks but I honestly don’t see a guy who can control a team. But he wasn’t the problem tonight.

Really if Maloney isn’t the 5/8 we need a creative player in that position, Luia the obvious choice.
