This GF outcome is awful - I can't even being myself to have a bet on it. I think the only way it could be worse would have been Storm v Broncos.
I wonder if they do a market on serious injuries - might make it worth watching then.

The NRL brand is f**ked.

The Melbourne Storm either takes the minor premiership or makes the grand final every year/2nd year.

The Roosters aren’t far off them really. Maybe they take their place when Smith & Slater are done.

Have a look at State of Origin. It’s not the same feeling as it was because the QLD dominance killed it off. We won this year. Whoopee.

It’s a set up and nrl fans have been hoodwinked for a long time.

I often doubt whether Souths, cowboys and sharks premierships were legit or if the nrl needed a period of random feel good years to bring the interest level up.

I stick by my belief of many years. The Storm are simply the 4th Qld club that happens to be based in Mexico. Hate to say it but Queensland is so far ahead in developing juniors they needed somewhere else to place the kids coming out of the sausage factory.

Said it here before but I go to bleak city regularly and the lack of interest in the game down there is unbelievable.

Last time was in August and Thursday paper I believe has the smallest part of a column about NRL, and that was with a game on that night. Should have taken a picture.

20 odd years and still SFA juniors from Vic.

Sad situation is that if Storm start going bad there will be no one at the grounds. NRL knows this so hvae to keep them performing well.

That team in Brisbane or Sunshine coast would have the highest crowds in the comp by a mile

Basically the comp is set up for 1 team cities, the only exception to the rule is the Roosters but that is Politis, the rest of teams scramble for the crumbs, and live in hope of having the dream season.

Us and the Rabbits have been fighting from under and both managed to jag a title but each year that gets harder and harder, the NRL are sweating on another team in sydney falling apart, so they can create another artifical team probably in Perth.

They do not care about sydney team except the Roosters, they showed that hand when womens comp started as well, the NRL are not even lets say not obvious they stick it in our face, they acre only about certain teams and that is it
