Genuinely curious as to what successes he’ll put down on his resume for the next coaching gig he applies for.

Legit can’t think of one point

He can return to Foxsports now that Kent is off the air.

A voice and bucket load of charisma that just screams media gig.

And sexy as hell. Now that he is pretty certain to be finished coaching an anchor role on a morning TV show awaits.

Dragons board and exec have made the Tigers look like stellar.

Just limping from f**k up to f**k up.

Don't worry about name change surveys. Telling Griffin he needed to 'reapply' for his role in 2024, at the beginning of the 2023 season, was moronic move. He was a dead man walking right there, put unneeded pressure on the squad, or even gave those guys in the playing group who didn't want him a reason to put in maximum effort.

Seriously, it's not Hook who should lose his job. It's the nuffies running the show.

Payton basically admitted to giving the players a soft pre season after the World Cup, and it’s very much showing with our results. Pretty unforgivable imo

There was nothing to suggest that scoreline was coming, don't know what the hell the cowboys did during the week.

Another blown half time lead for the Titans. Does Holbrook see out the year? Next year is his final year of his current contract. Is it even Holbrook's fault? Are the training facilities up to scratch for this keep happening.
Not sure who they bring in though.

I don't think he was sacked at Penrith, the memory is a bit hazy that far back though. I remember him being replaced by Wiley, but dont recall the circumstances.
It was a bit of a merry-go-round as far as the Coaches go

Bennett was to be Head coach of the Raiders in 1988 but when Brisbane came into the comp he got a release and signed on as Brisbane Head Coach on the recommendation of Big Jack Gibson who Brisbane had signed as a Consultant to find them a Coach.

The Raiders then Sign Tim Sheens as Head Coach who got out of his Penrith Contract.

Penrith then sign Ron Willey as their Head Coach who was the NSW Coach at the time ( 1986/`1987) and last coached Souths in the NSWRL in 1985.

Willey did pretty well at Penrith getting them into the finals both years he Coached ( 1988/89)

How would training facilities impact the fade outs in the second half? That's all about effort and when the other team comes back, you need to ramp up to take it away from them. I feel they need a new coach, and Flanagan with that forward pack would be a good choice. He had his teams previously playing that 80mins. And they have great juniors who with the right coach would get their chances in the squad. Not all coaches can motivate the players to reach their potential which is what I feel Holbrook is finding out, game plan is good, but the coach isn't sure what to say to ensure they go on with it in the second half.

Holbrook was trying to take David Fifita off the field with a minute to go. That in itself should be enough to show he has no clue.

That's before you even look at the fact he has gifted Tanah Boyd the number 7 jersey despite being awful.

Yeah. Letting Jamal Fogarty go was really silly.
Tannah Boyd is the only option they’ve got at the moment with Toby Sexton injured. Not sure what other choices they have at HB.

If they could bring in Flanagan, that would be huge. Titans should have 7 or perhaps even 8 wins right now and be well positioned for a finals run, so they’re not a complete basket case, just under performing which is on the coach.

with these second half collapses it’s pretty much expected now. Panic just sets in straight away a try is scored against them and it snowballs.

My issue is even with a completely healthy squad, he's still got Boyd as the 7. Even losing Fogarty, Boyd shouldn't be near the starting lineup.

They are a mentally weak team, and they have absolutely no poise or discipline. They had the Bulldogs game in the bag even late in the game, but they would give away some of the dumbest penalties. A big contributing factor is Tino. Tino is a great player, but not the kind of player you want as captain. He was a key factor in getting the Bulldogs back into the game with an unnecessary dangerous tackle penalty that welcomed the Bulldogs into the Titan's end.

Boyd definitely doesn't help with his subpar kicking game inviting the Bulldogs into Titan's territory and no direction when the Titan's are in possession (or the wrong direction). Titans had so much success on the left-hand side with Fifita, yet second half they rarely went that way - despite that being the only side they scored in the second half.

When was this?

Give them a break, no doubt. Penrith only had a few weeks with the main group after all their WC players returned to training for 2023. Apparently, their pre-season extended into the early weeks of the season, which makes sense given how they began the year. But premierships aren't won in March or April.
